Anyone else noticing that as nice as the K2's are, they are not winning many of the awards that typically are just a given for the latest & greatest? Not hating on them at all, just curiously watching them get smacked around by the media time & again.

I am curious if GM pissed off BBC/History/Top Gear? Last night when they had trucks, it was F-150, Ram, and....... Tundra. no Silverado/Sierra

These days, auto awards have nearly nothing to do with the actual merits of the vehicle. Most major awards are backed by advertising and sponsorship dollars on the back end. GM most likely didn't "advertise enough".

I knew the US Top Gear would suck on the very first episode when they did the helicopter chase. The fat one said "you get three chances... Like a video game!" Then I turned the channel.

It isnt as good, but I still enjoy it. It fills a space on my tuesday night recoding

Same here, its not as good as it was but I like watching it. The British version is really a hater on anything American.

They always trash the US, but they've done a couple specials here anyways, hmmm. Usually have lots of good things to say about Cadillacs.

 

Does this autoguide site get $ or anything from manufacturers? Also how did they get such an MPG difference between the Chev and GMC? That alone would make me doubt how thorough the test was...
