Between the color, wheels, Cooper tires and blacked out grille they had a lot in common haha.

I have money put aside for a new battery and a new monitor. The current battery is 3 years old. I still haven't decided which one I'm going to go with. As far as the monitor I want an Edge Insight, it can display 8 things at once.

As much as I liked the Scanguage, I wanted something that could display a few more parameters at once. The Edge Insight CS appeared to fit the bill. I got a used unit from another member. Then ordered the dash pod from Amazon to mount it.

The pod isn't a perfect match, but it's pretty close. The cable runs down the pillar, weaving it through the dash was the only slightly difficult part. The screen resolution is pretty good.

On the analog screen, you can set a custom background but it doesn't really matter to me since it will be on the 6 gauge screen.

Overall it's a great unit and I'd recommend it. The only thing I don't like is the "power level" read out, which doesn't apply to my truck. It has a bunch of performance timers and economy stuff which I probably won't use much.

The Insight install turned out great man.

Thanks CA! It's a great setup.

I still need to try out more of the features.

The only problem is people keep asking me what kind of "tuner" I have.

Last night I drained, flushed out, and refilled my power steering fluid. Really pretty easy. I had a DEF container and stole the spout from it. Used that to aim the old fluid into my drain pan. If you leave the cap on none will come out until you're ready. After that plugged it with a hose and bolt.

Aimed the return line down into the pan too.

I flushed it out with some cheaper fluid, then filled with this.

Made sure I got any air out and fired it up. I was getting a slight whine from it with the old fluid, now it's quiet as a mouse.

15,000 mile wear update on the Coopers:

They are wearing well so far. No cupping. They have gotten noisier but with the radio on 25% or more I don't notice it. We'll see this winter if snow traction is still as good. Dry pavement is about the same. You can see the first wear bars in the middle tread, not down to it yet. I would guesstimate 5-10k before they wear that far. I did a lot of gravel driving this summer and the tread has held up well as far as gashes and chunks.
