thank you for your reply.I should have worded the question better.I know the cat back Borla does not have the flapper valve. That is the reason I am interested in that system.I have read earlier posts of people using 2013 or earlier borla catback systems on 2014 models. Also know gm/borla uses the flap valve.Question!!!,Can or will a 2013 Borla catback fit on a 2014 without any mods. This is for a reg cab only.thanks

It should fit fine.

Anyone have a photo of the GM/Borla exhaust that are split rear exit on their truck? Also a sound clip would also be helpful.Called Borla and they said this is the touring version.I have a sport version on my 2008 and really like the sound.Just wondering if this 2014 system will be loud enough on a 2014 reg cab. Thanks

I'm hoping mine will get here Monday/Tuesday. I'll post back once I have it installed.

Figured I would mention here, I wanted to see what my truck sounded like at idle / rev with the butterfly valve open on my exhaust, so I had someone rev it while I was back there. I noticed the square piece on the outside actually turns when the valve opens. I know a lot of people on here have clamped the valve, just wondering if they turned it first? Might be impeding the flow if you didn't..

Yes, of course, you need to turn the valve to the open position before clamping it.

How do I make my 4.3L sound like a 6.2L? (Without buying a new '14 Silverado. I already traded in my '14 5.3L)

Go Army! GO ORDNANCE!!!

Find a way to add 2 more cylinders and 2 more liters to the motor. Kidding, I don't think you will ever get the 6.2 rumble from a v-6.

Hey to be completely honest I am very impressed with this new V-6 that GM put out. Not one single issue on my whole truck so far. And coming from the 5.3 in my 08 Sierra I don't miss it.

Yeah, I like it! I traded my '14 5.3L for my '14 4.3L. I was reading one of the forum topics and apparently my V6 can tow more weight than some V8's because of my gears. I don't really know for sure though (or care, really) I just got it because it looks sooooo sweat! I just wish it sounded more like my '04 V6 Silverado. That truck sounded great! This new one is just whisper quiet.

I just installed the Corsa Sport exhaust today. Single side exit, black tips. Really love it so far! Sounds great in V8 mode. You can hear it in V4 mode (helicopter sound...), but it isn't too bad. With the radio up and a/c on, I don't notice a sound difference while cruising on the highway.

Does the front pipe have a valve and bypass pipe on it? If so, can you post a pic.

Yes it does, and I will have to post a picture later. I have zero drone. I had a flowmaster super50 on prior to this, and the drone was very minimal, could barely notice it. Now I have none at all.
