Picking a color

I'm seriously contemplating ordering a '14 Silverado but is it just me or have others had a hard time choosing which color to get?

 

I think I'm going to go with the Ltz z71 but not sure on color yet. I've never had this hard of a time trying to decide on a color for a new vehicle.

 

I really like the blue topaz metallic but it's really similar to my current Chevy truck and I probably want something different. Also looking at the silver ice metallic or black. Maybe even deep ruby metallic. So many choices!

 

I'm planning on lifting it and getting a set of black/silver XD wheels and trying to picture which color would go best.

 

Obviously it's my decision and I'm the only one who can choose but did anyone else have a tough time choosing what color to go with?

I went to Texas A&M, so Aggie marroon, aka Ruby Red was the obvious choice for me. With that being said, I have an LTZ and I really wish it had the body colored handles and mirror caps instead of the chrome. The chrome just seems to look a little too flashy on the dark red, but thats just my opinion. My neighbor just got a white LTZ and the chrome looks a lot better matched to the lighter colors to me, like white and silver.

I literally walked on the dealer's lot, looked at all of the different trucks, narrowed it down to a couple colors, decided which would be easiest to keep clean and maintain, and then made my decision (took ~ 45 min). I'm also partial to silver so that may have swayed me a bit lol

I've had nothing but silvers, grays, blacks for a number of years and decided I was old enough to control my speed and settled on Victory Red. I walked on the dealer lot and said, I want a red truck, and that's where we started.

I love the Ruby Red option.. it's similar in color to my old 2000 Trans Am..miss that car. I have owned a grey F150 for 12 years, so when i get a new(er) Silverado/Sierra, it's going to be anything but grey...lol

Personally my favorite color is white, looks good and easy to clean. on the k2 that metallic brown or whatever it's called is a really nice color

I went with Deep Ruby Metallic as something different. Had a lot of blue trucks and most recent was a 2011 Silverado with Blue Granite Metallic (aka Stelalth Gray). Also, black was very hard to keep clean. Try something new!

I was pretty much decided when I ordered my blue granite metallic which I love it seems less blue this year and more slate depending on the light. That being said after I ordered it I was considering changing to the bronze, not sure of the actual name, and the white diamond always catches my eye. I am very happy my color and people. comment on it all the time but if given the chance I might reconsider and change to the white diamond it looks easier to keep clean although it is a pricey color option.

I like silver for ease of maintaining (doesn't look dirty as bad as dark colors). My next one will probably be the blue granite my 2nd favorite color

My 2010 Sierra was Fire Red. When they showed off the 2014's the first time and I saw the A/T I knew I had to have one but later found they didn't offer the A/T in Fire Red so I settled for the Onyx Black this go around. Still a bit peeved about that but what can ya do.

always bought used so i had many different colors over the years, Bought 1 new truck in 11 wanted Black couldn't get it with the options I wanted without ordering, so settled for Blue.... everyt time I looked at the truck I wished it was black so when I bought this last one I decided to only settle for Black. took a little bit to find it but I'm so happy I got the Color I wanted. Don't settle if it will bother you in the future....
