Gun holster / mount

I am not sure if your talking about my post but I was only making the point that one needs to pick a round based off situation. Like I said in my post alot of folks feel the hype of a cool looking round and dont know what it actually does i.e. hornady critical duty, meant to penetrate layers to hit its target. A good hollow point is the answer to most problems. I think we are on the same page though.

i shoot either ranger T/pdx-1, hornady critical duty, speer gold dots, and federal HST. They all are leo proven rounds with near nothing mass loss and superb penetration with various clothings. I like the ranger T/pdx-1s while carring in the car as they perform very well shooting through glass.

IMO Hornady Critical Duty and Critical Defense are garbage. I prefer Federal HST's or Winchester Ranger T's

I use golden sabers personally. I think the Critical series is unproven. I wont be the one to prove it either. I know in medium testing they are.

Somereason i thoigh i had the critical defense, but they are the xtp's. The golden sabers are nice in larger calibers. I had them for a 38spl and the did not expand. As you see in the pic i have them in 45 but i have yet to try them in my 1911. You cant go wrong with the pdx-1 or ranger t. If you find the white box hope on it as you cant get 50 hps that cheap anywere. I have the gold dot for my 44 mag but ibthink and thing will perform well in it. I carry the fed hst for my px4 subcompact. There are plenty of review on that round. I'll give anything a try as long as it is bonded and my gun feeds it.

niw this little bugger is a gimic. It us a 50 gr liberty defense 9mm +p. This thng is practically a thick jacket with no lead. It is super fast but the penetration suck and it turns into shrapnel. My friend brought these to the range and gave me a good laught as they talked him into them because it would make carrying his keltec a bit lighter.

Golden Sabers are good rounds as well. However, (at least in .45ACP) the Federal HST+P's have the highest velocity of anything I've found to date. In addition to that they are amazing rounds and are certified by the FBI for use in their duty weapons. The Winchester Ranger T's (formerly the Black Talons) are a close second in my book.

Anyone found a good place to store or mount a gun in their 2014? Looking for somewhere hidden but quick to get to. Thanks!
