Just drill out and remove. I need to put a black bolt in place but honestly doesn't look bad with just 2 tiny holes. I thought the badging was ugly in the first place.

Had mine only a month but no issues. Well see though, kinda has me worried now.

They told me over the phone they fixed the adhesion issue. I'm hoping that replaced my defective boards with another set of defective boards!

Here is to hoping "Third Times a Charm".

One year warranty. I have thought of that but thats just ridiculous. The closest Linex place is 14 hours away and I paid money for these! I think they should hold up for longer than a few months!

Brotha man, I completely agree. I'm shocked that they charge that much money and only warranty their products for 1 year. That is ridiculous. I'm sorry that you are kinda the Guinea pig in this whole thing but I'm literally about to buy steps for my truck and was really considering buying these. But not anymore, the company doesn't deal with you, only a year warranty, pricey product. I think I'll buy the NFab bars that have a 5 year warranty on the textured finish alone

My Go Rhino RB10's are wearing too. Not like that, but you can clearly see where I step on them. The grip is wearing away. I personally do not like my RB10's. I'll be getting Amp's soon.

They look sweet and add some protection, but the logo they rivet in is stupid. And they look worse after I tried to fill the holes (I drilled out the rivets). My main beef isn't really against Go Rhino though. I just personally think they are too close to the truck to be useful. Its too a big a step when getting in the truck and too small a step when getting out. 90% of the people who ride in my truck step over them getting in and out.

I bought because they look sweet, and I think still they would, if they would get rid of that dumb logo they rivet into them. I know thats subjective, but my truck is blacked out and the stainless steel logo stood out like a sore thumb.

I thought I purchased some Amp's but turns out I was a part of that Amazon scam. Haha!

Can anyone with the iboards give some reviews of how they're holding up? They look nice for the money, but I've heard one person say the top rubber part started to come off.

I've been hearing so many ppl having issues with the RB10's lately, that's so disappointing because I really want them but now I'm kinda thinkin twice

Just started noticing mine are peeling at the slots, guess I'll be calling them Monday. For those that have had replacements, did they cover shipping the old ones back?

Go Rhino has nice stuff.

If you need any accessories, would love to help. We have couple of toys at www.eTruckGear.com and offer honest service ( with 100 % positive Amazon feedback we try hard to be there for the customer)

Stop by on Internet and take a look. Tonno Pro is a nice brand to look at. Not that well known but super quality and low price. We are also Weathertech approved, meaning warranty applies as opposed to purchases on Amazon. Don't like Weathertech? We have Husky or Maxliner. Will be glad to help.

Just drill out the plate or throw a quick shot of paint on it, problem solved. It really isn't a big deal, easily fixable. That is one of my complaints on them (and the long term wear and dirty looking in dusty areas).

I am looking for some good looking boards for a little added protection but want them to fit up tight to the body and be reasonably priced. When I level I will want them to save my seat, those who ride (especially grand parents and mom) have trouble getting in stock). These are a little steep in price but one of the favs. Until I found these...

Can get them for under $300

By the pic they fit right, it looks like a real pic. Have a similar style to our trucks with sharper edges. They don't come in other colors (IE black or chrome) but I will paint them black before I put them on when I order them unless something better comes along.

I have these exact same running boards and can attest that they are of very high quality and work very well.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

Do these bolt to the frame or rocker panel?

I picked up my Sierra about 3 weeks ago, and read all 74 pages of this thread trying to decide on nerf bars.

Ultimately I went with the Westin HDX Drop Steps. They were waiting on the front porch when I got home tonight, and took less than an hour to install. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to post pics, it got dark on me and the cell phone just won't pick up the black on black. For now, you'll have to take my word on it that they look great!

Now to figure out how to get the wife to let me buy a Tonneau and new tires...

Well after much research on this thread I bought my amp research steps and man they are so effin sweet. I almost went with some other ones but too many ppl had problems with coating peeling off and what not so after reading all that it reminded me of what a man wiser than myself once said, "The bitterness of poor quality lingers far longer than the initial sweetness of a cheap price." I freakin love these things and they exceeded my expectations. 96fad72562636b1642aea9008733adb7.jpg43293340de3791ed8576efbf02d4f792.jpg

No, They made me go back to where I purchased the boards from and would not directly work with me. Luckily the guy i deal with is super easy going and great to work with. I'm not sure what they will do if you bought directly from them tho.

go-rhino RB-10 , did they fix there problem ( coating peeling ) ????

We shall find out! Something I'm curious about is that the first 2 sets of boards did not have the riveted side plate on them. The set i just got does have that. I'm hoping that this could be an indication of a new batch of boards that doesn't have the adhesion issue. Time will tell.

    • So you're saying toss the baby out with the bathwater? @txab posted article was her take on how AI can be used to manipulate pricing as it already does and has been rebuked by the judiciasry in housing. How AI can be and is used to maximize refinery or even Amazon operations all of which are true but because she is who she is; that makes what she says about what is true, false? Is that something akin to Pre-justice aka prejudice?    Look, I'm first in line to approach all information with caution just because we live in a world where people like to lie about someone or something with such a straight face and in such volume that it makes digging to the truth wearisome. Meaning I understand the skepticisms but if I were to toss out everything a person is for a view they hold then my pool of people to draw wisdom from would be non-existent and I'd be forced to reinvent the wheel daily. Not practical.    "Be innocent as a dove but as cautious as a serpent."    Test each word. Every good lie is part truth or no one would believe it. Find the truth in it and reject what isn't.    On this one, AI is being used to do what has been done by hand for hundreds of years already but at such speed, the point of a computer, that it is more easily monetized. This one wasn't that hard a lift.    I wrote a few formulas in a Lotus 123 program decades ago, a series of linked Macros actually, that allowed a daily inventory to be turned into a running P&L and production plan. Something that took three departments a week to assemble now took the time it takes to input the 'daily changes' in inventory. Later that was ungraded to the more powerful Excel program an and integrated with bar code scanning, inventory to supply was done once per shift. It had a huge impact on production scheduling, Seamless interruption flexibility, inventory error reduction, raw materials cost effective utilization and scrap reduction. Huge improvement in the bottom line. I spent months on that and AI could have done it in minutes. So yes, it not only can be used, they would be foolish to not try. The legality, ethics and morality are not the domain of AI. Humans need to keep a reign on it.
    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.
