Got the lights from the Chinese manufacturer for way cheaper. The guy is on instagram, I can link he's page if yall want to order. I took the light apart and used the part that ends flush as a template to make cardboard templates. Where the lights are mounted is the only open space. I taped the whole part where the light would sit so then I could trace the template with a marker. Drilled holes on each corner, then with a grinder and disk to cut metal I cut that sucker lol. With a dremel and some tip that I had laying around I grinder down so the light could fit perfect. Once the light was in and straight with a sharpie I marked the holes for the bolts to hold it in place. I already had lights like that but under the bumper. I took them off and used those wires to connect to this lights. On with reverse or at night if you click the unlock button on the remote. Is a really simple mod.

Went ahead and pulled off the chrome door molding and used some Plastidip to colormatch the mirror caps. Planning to clear coat them this coming weekend so they can stand up to the many bugs that shall hit them in the coming summer months

I have more colormatching soon to come

NICE! The mirrors look much more tame without all the damn chrome!

I'm putting the video together, I just need to get footage of the lights during the night.

What was your process???

Looks great

Lots of time on a ladder hovered over the engine compartment. I remind the shop to wipe up any drips after fluid changes as well. I am sure I annoy them.

Put a Magnaflow muffler on my truck today. 3" in dual 2.5" out part number 12198. Debating if I want to put tips on it or leave it be. I think the V6 sound will take some getting use to.

Finally stopped raining and is great spring day. Just put on new EGR matte black flares, EGR bodyside molding, black handles, and caps. Glad I saved caps and handles from my ruby silverado. Took off all chrome molding, handles, and mirror caps. Also took off the chrome assist steps too. Tired of all the chrome. Going to put on black NFAB bars in the morning or sometime this week. Busy day and tired. Later will be possibly a 4 inch lift and some kind of bumper replacements.

Did you have to drill holes for the fender flares

Being in the middle makes my OCD a little happier. Mine was above the "Silverado" to the left and was going to leave it on there but took it off. Now I wish I did because I now work at that dealership lol.
