They are. You seen them on Amazon? The reviews I read said they are really bright so I'm hoping they're as good as everyone has said.

Why sir indeed I have. I have them in my truck! I also use them to flash the tailgaters at night, really works!

By no means they are luminating the entire rear, but they definitely does a good job allowing me to at least make out what is behind me in the camera. Stock did not do such.

They do sit a bit far off where the offset is suppose to be, but the mount of light just makes up for the lost light distribution.

Enjoy those suckers! Oh, dont touch them if you have them lit for a couple of seconds, they WILL get pretty hot!

Maybe this is a dumb question, but how do you flash tailgaters with ur backup lights? Must have them wired in to something else I'm guessing.

I really noticed tonight how bad the stock lights are. I was leaving the gym and I could see the reflection in the windows in the building behind that they just don't look very bright and like you mentioned as well, they should help with the backup camera and giving a little more light back there.

Under the dash, where the BCM connectors are, there is a constant 12v. There is also the input for the reverse light.

Goes like this:

12v -> Diode -> Button -> Reverse light input

The diode should not be required, i put it there just in case. The button is a non-toggle button, like a mouse click if you will, button is salvaged from LED strip demo packaging lol.

Tap the button really fast with the instant 800lm X 2 in the boonies without other lights, really confuses the driver behind, so they end up backing away!

Tailgaters be gone!!

That's awesome! But unfortunately most of that went over my head. (I'm awful with almost anything electrical)

You have a pic of the button?

Never thought about the bench seat could be useful in "other ways" lol, I went with bucket seats for the look. but now I see a good use for it now that you mentioned it... XD
