crafferty Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 So true, quality goes way beyond just looks. My shop actually charges more to install rough country vs BDS because the BDS kit is way easier to install and align. All of these details are very often overlooked but you really do get what you pay for including the warranty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk When I had my CST lift installed on my 2012 the installer (across the street from my work at the time) called me up and had me come over. I thought the lift had been damaged in shipping or something. Nope, instead they were so impressed with the quality they wanted to show me the difference between my kit and a rough country they were installing on an HD truck. Needless to say I believe they are a CST dealer now lol. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk 1
bndawgs Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 I'd install those afterwards since they clamp on. That way the area will be fully covered and you want have to worry about cutting line x with a razor blade (always looks like shit). But at the same time I don't have the tie downs in front of me. Always good to ask the shop thier thoughts too. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk Yeah, i'm going to bring them with me and ask the guy his thoughts. My thinking is that if they spray while they are in, then it'll be a continuous layer of line-x throughout. i'm also wondering what to do about the screw holes that will be left by the plastic bed liner? If i should spray any type of rust preventer in there prior too?

Severado Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 (edited) New wheels yesterday and installed steps myself today. American Outlaw Deputy 20x9 w/ Cooper Discoverer ATP 275/60R20 (previously purchased) Westin HDX Drop Steps Lifted: Pro Comp ProRunner SS struts and shocks. Pro Comp 2.25" leveling kit. Tried the struts on the highest level and they topped out hard over bumps. So they flipped them to stock height and threw in the level kit no charge. Thx 4WP Driveway is slanted and it's dirty. Truck is level though. Sent from my ONE A2005 using Tapatalk Edited November 6, 2016 by Severado 2

crafferty Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 So my truck currently needs to have the headlights, grille and lower grille valance installed. Once that is complete she'll be 100% again. Odd problem I have right now is that non of my parking sensors are working. But at the same time my DIC doesn't tell me there is a problem either. I can only assume it's because my headlights are not installed. Prior to this when I drove it with no bumpers or lights on it said there was an error with my sensors. Anyone have insight into this? groundtrooper Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 (edited) Nothing too exciting. I have been looking for this type of solution since April when I picked up my truck. My previous vent clips/mounts that worked on my Avalanche horizontal vents didn't cut the mustard on the 2016 vertical vents. Plus in Phoenix in the summer you really need your FULL VENT!! So I will be ready for summer next year. Thanks to pgamboa for sharing his similar project a few pages back. seansharley Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Found a "black box" detail kit on sale at an auto parts store for $8.00. Weather in Florida finally cooled off, got a couple coats of wax on her. 2
