Look's Good - HOW do you like your running broads .

Thanks! I love my running boards. They’ve held up very well with the hell they go through on the road. Lots of construction around where I live so there’s sand, rocks, and concrete everywhere that pepper them daily.

I do hope your truck works out, but I was on the phone with Shane long before I seen this here. I seen the video first with Troy, take a look at his video about your truck, you'll see my reply. Unfortunately, my truck is worse than yours. I know it's no contest I would want to win, but, they will need to strip the entire truck from bumper to bumper, roof to running boards, before they can do anything else. All the while, hoping my clear coat doesn't get burnt through, yet again. It's going to be a very expensive endeavour. It's been mouths of dropping off my truck, driving some pos rental for days on end. If I end up taking my truck to Shane and Troy, they could make more videos on what NOT to do, and what it will take to fix it.

Here's a quick pic, the entire truck looks like this...

that is pretty bad. My truck was probably just as worse as yours than before in the video. I had taken mine to the dealership for them to fix it. I thought they did an ok job at first. But after taking it to Troy he showed me everything they ****ed up. I am 22 years old. This is my first vehicle. I didn’t know any better. I now know the dealerships are all scammers taking the easy route to fix stuff. Or they will void a warranty for stupid shit because they feel like it. I wish you luck with your truck. Troy and Shane are good people. They will do what they can to help.

Yeah lol. As I was pulling the tabs together they busted. The driver’s side came out fine. But the passenger side has been hell.

lol I did the same thing on my jeep, the tabs looked as if you pull them out then slide them out.
But he's right you just need to force it out with a tool. Do your best to not break the housing.

Yup like Troy said in the video it’s the minerals from rain or even tap water that etches into the paint. I remember having to fix that when I took delivery of my truck. Really isn’t too difficult of a job usually just time consuming since these trucks are so big.

They sprayed the ceramic on, I think that is where all this came from. There is no signs of it running down like rain would've. We'll see...

Sprayed on ceramic? Weird I thought you always had to spread it on.

At the Gm factory I work at every one of the vehicles have "orange peel" paint jobs.

Orange peel is one thing, this is totally different. It sure didn't look like this when I took it to them. There is an acceptable orange peel gage that every auto maker uses.

I'll snap a picture of one of the white Cadillac, besides the orange peel the facia doesn't ever match the body color. (Painted at a different factory)

That is the GM-T5 plug. How long has not been hooked up? Have you smelled burnt wiring or anything? Seen any smoke?
