The wire i have the floor lighting connected to can be turned on with the door switch up on the ceiling center console. Would that work for what your looking to do?

Finally went ahead and got my LED light bars installed. I ended up mounting a 30" bar to the radiator support (see pics) behind the grille. I then mounted a bull bar and added a 20" bar to that. Not sure if I'm a fan of the bull bar, but I am a HUGE fan of being able to make the sun come out at night!!

Yes that would work, how did u do that? And it comes on with the door open too? And u said the console lights where on all the time? So u splice them under the dash too?

It should be very similar, here are the wires i tapped into. There are under the driver side the connector is the top one on the left. the grey wire is for the footwell lighting and the purple/green is for the red center console lights i have.

With just headlights and then with headlights and LED bars. What a difference! Pictures do not do it justice!

It was a very simple install. I think I'm going to remove the bull bar and hide the 20" behind the grille too.

Very clean look

It is. There are K2 specifics later in the thread, that's where I got the info for my dome lights and footwell lighting! Edited by Mike1220

Where are you locating your switches for the lights?

I bought a wireless 12v controller from Tractor Supply.

Its intention is to be used to switch pumps on and off...up to 20amps (plenty of power for the LED bars). It was $30 and saved tons of time running wires everywhere. I also like it because let's say I'm outside of the vehicle I can remotely turn them on and off. $30 well spent in my opinion. I will post pictures tomorrow of the packaging and controller. Highly recommended.

I bought a no name off-brand bar...just because I wasn't sure if I'd like it. I would rather spend $150 and end up liking it rather than $2000 for a rigid and not like it. Plus, rigid bars are just ungodly expensive and not worth it unless you're using it every singe day in an off road race type setting.

The bar is in a generic housing but does have CREE LEDs. I want to say it's 180w and about 15k lumens? I'll have to check. But it is bright! I highly recommend it...I'll PM you the link.
