Anyone know the specs on the stock shocks?

 

Looking at maybe replacing?

You need dem Bilsteins. So far mine have held up pretty good.

38k miles in these. Want to keep all 4 corners the same brand and the fronts are still in good shape. I don't mind the rancho shocks compared to my old 2000 (added bilsteins) it rides similar in the rear

I noticed scuffing on mine this fall, haven't crawled under to see what this winter has done but I'm sure it's similar. The OE shocks are junk, any brand name replacement will do better. I'm hoping to replace this next year so unless something has a mechanical failure I'm not replacing it.

Mine aren't as bad as yours, but they probably will be in two years. They're already starting to rust in a couple places, and I've only got 25k on my truck. And I'm sure the winter we've had this year is going to make them rust even faster.

It's just the ranchos. Mine are 2 years old and look terrible

The oem Z71's on my 2010 were all black, and they look a lot worst with all of the surface rust but are still functioning fine.
