Anyone ever had concrete work done? Having trouble getting quotes (contacted 5 places and only 1 reply)

Looking to have the driveway squared off

What do you think is a fair price?

The Mrs. and I are considering a stamped patio and we ran into the same issue, a number of places we called didn't return calls.

Just had some poured yesterday for upcoming garage build. $4.50/ sq ft with the footers, but they would pour additional apronn front of the footers for additional $3/ sq ft. This is north central florida, 3000 psi with reinforcing fibers throughout the mix and rebar in footers.

Right now around Houston you're luck to even find any unless you're buying by the bag

due to lack of companies or lack of materials? I've worked concrete before, maybe i could capitalize on an opportunity :P

Lack of materials, so much building going on here that everything is bought up and the little guys can't get any product

I'm not sure on the prices, but I must applaud your vehicle cleanliness regime. I see you use "Tire Shine" on a regular basis...

I just had a crew do a 35' long by 21' wide drive to replace the old one in front of my garage to my gravel drive way. Tear up, prep, one truck load of sand, framing, rebar, nylon reinforced concrete, 4" depth on one side and 6" on the other because I park my semi truck tractor on that side on the weekends. $3.50 a square foot complete. Just had to get a load of crushed rock that I graded myself to match up the drive to the concrete and to spread around the main part of the drive as it was needing some fresh gravel on it anyway.
