I made it through 45 pages of this topic and gave up...Is anyone running 305-50-20 on stock AT rims? I would love to go with the 275-65-20 however I think clearance getting in and out of my garage will be an issue. So if I can't go higher...I might as well go wider, just not sure if the 50 profile height is going to look to small.

I am thinking about the Cooper Zeon's, decent price and decent look. Just need to see what this size actually looks like on a truck.

I had 295/50/20 on my Silverado at the stock height on Chevy Oem rims and had no issues at all. Going to a 305 would be pushing it. Even after putting the 2.5" leveling kit in the front and rear I only put a 295/55/20 on. The Chevy wheel wells are just to narrow. I'm sure you can fit a 305/55/20 with a leveling kit I just didn't wanna push it with the chance of rubbing or issues being to wide

Double check the clearance on your garage....I don't think the 275 will make you too tall. Your FM antenna may hit, but your OnStar antenna shouldn't in a standard garage...that's your tallest peak. You should still have 2" clearance with the 275s and level.

Guy at work is running 305/50/20 Nitto G2s (P, not LT tire) on +1 offset...your stock rim is +31, so he is sticking out 1.2" more. He is rubbing when reversing out of his drive...most likely the liner. IMO it's too much rim and not enough tire from the side view. It's also too wide and not tall enough. But he likes it and many people are running this same setup. Google Image search it rather than just reading this forum.

I have 275/65r20 and 2 inch level in the front. My garage door is 7ft high with no issues. remember the tire is 2 inches tall than stock but only raises the truck height 1 inch over the stockers.

My door is 75", for some odd reason. Right now the truck is 73" to the highest point. Theoretically 275/65's will work with only 1" of additional lift.

It sucks that there aren't more 285 options, or 33/ 12.50's.

hows the ride with the tires?

I have the same exact tires. They are very quiet, i think they are pretty smooth. Not much different than stock.

Can we get a couple of shots down the side from front and rear to see how far the tires stick out?

I will do that as soon as I get my truck back. Some jackass hit me the other day and then took off. It's getting repaired now.

Sorry to hear that man, but you've got a bad ass truck! If money permitted i'd have done the exact same mods you've done!
