Just ordered my Nitto Terra Grappler G2's in a 305/45R22's and replica 22" CK158's. I will post some pics once they are all mounted up.

Question popped into my head just now. With everyone on here that has changed tires/rims and given that my OEM (265/65R18) are approx. 31.6'" overall and the Nitto's are 32.8" overall, has anyone changed out their spare tire to something closer in size so you are not running on a 1" difference between tires if the unfortunate happens?

Excellent question. This is the kind of thing that keeps me awake at night. Great minds...

I did have to zip tie the fender well liner back. You just poke a hole in the liner and use a zip tie to hold it back. It just took a couple of minutes on each side.

Hey Dawg, I've never looked behind the liner, what is back there that you wrap the tie around?

You zip tie the bottom of the liner to a hole in the frame. When you pull it tight, it pulls the liner in a couple of inches.

I was wondering the same thing and asked the guy at the tire shop last weekend when I was putting my rims back on. I'm running 275/65/20 so about 2" taller than the spare.

He said make sure your rear drive wheels are the same and put the spare up on the front. As long as you don't engage 4wd it should be fine but the truck will likely pull to the side of the smaller tire. Wondering if anyone else has any other advice or real life experience with this

That thing looks mean with those wide wheels & tires.

Alright,

The rig is making progress. With the exception of the nice door dent someone gave me and failed to report. Some People Suck!

To date I have installed the following:

2015 GMC Sierra SLT Texas Edition 4X4

Line X Liner

Access Lo Pro Soft Tonneau

Husky Job Box

Weigh Safe 6" Adjustable Hitch

2.0 Fox Adjustable Coil Overs

2.0 Fox Rear IFPs

22" Dub Shot Caller's

305/45R22 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s. No Rub

Up next:

Fix the door

Borla Dual Exhaust with Gunmetal tips

American Brothers Design Gunmetal Emblems front and Rear

Swing Case Tool Box

Weather Tech Mats

I am looking to duplicate your wheel set up but have a 2" drop in the front. How close is your setup to rubbing? Do you think 2 inches lower would create significant interference?

17x8.5 Method Mesh rims

0 offset 4.75" backspace

285/75r17 Toyo ATll's

2.5" level (front only)

rubs at full lock both directions. (will hopefully be able to correct that as i just installed them)

That might be tough with that setup. Look at the 285/45R22s. There about an inch shorter than mine and a little narrower.

Get them mounted today.

Replica 22" CK158

305/45R22 Nitto Terra Grappler G2's

ReadyLift 2.25" Front Level

No rubbing that I've noticed so far. Full lock in reverse could pose an issue as its really close, so I might just go ahead and tie back the liners just in case. Really liking the look of it.
