Guys have been running the 275/60/20's with a 2.25-2.5" front level. Some have rubbed a little bit on the fender liner, some haven't. It's about the limit. That tire isn't very wide, but it's over 34" tall, so that's why it rubs. A safe bet would be the 275/60/20. It's the same width, but only 33" tall.

Ok, I have decided not to add a level kit.

My goal is to just make my ride better on rough roads.

The fix would be to go to 18" wheels, but I don't think they will look good on this truck.

Perhaps just new tires when the time comes.

Yeah if your main goal is a better ride, then stay away from a leveling kit or any other suspension mods that will raise the ride height. And, unfortunately, only adding 0.5" of sidewall to your tires probably won't make enough difference to even notice. Honestly, I can't really tell much difference between 18" and 20" wheels, as far as the ride is concerned. You actually have one of the best riding trucks on the market today...

Big Whiskey, if that is true about the 18" wheel not feeling any better then the 20" then that will save me money. But will a 275/60/20 fit my stock truck without needing any mods?

I understand the .5" won't do much, but perhaps with the .5" and a better tire it just may do enough.

Thanks!

Just installed LT275/70 Nitto Terra Grappler on stock 18's. Haven't had time to install leveling kit yet. No rub.

Yes, I think a 275/60/20 will fit without any lift modifications. Some guys have ran a 275/70/18 without any lift, which is actually a little taller than a 275/60/20. I think you'll be fine. Most tire shops will let you test fit a tire to make sure it fits before you buy a whole set.

Nothing fancy, 275/60/20 BFG KO2 - with 2in level up front. Truck is on a slight decline in pic.. will post some better ones with the truck cleaned later.

Yeah, definitely add more photos when you can. I am looking at doing something similar.

Thanks!

They look great on your truck. Definitely the amount of rubber between rim and road that I am use to having.

Not sure that would like right on my "pretty" truck. But again, looks good.

Big Whiskey, I will have to go and check this tire thing out at a local shop.

And thanks with the help. I added my signature, just need to add my truck photo.

Thanks again.

Those look great. Do you think you needed to add the 2" level to make them fit??

Did you do the lift THEN the tires, or did you do them at the same time?

Did you notice a change in your ride with the new tires and the lift?

Thanks

Finally got a decent amount of snow to try out my EXO grapplers, they got me through 12"+ of snow with no problem, no tire spin, no sliding.

Been looking at Fuel Anza Matte Anthracite. Can get them in 17x8.5

I can't find hardly any pictures with them on a new style chevy/gm I wonder how they would look? I think the anthracite/gunmetal looking gray would contrast well.

I went with the Cognito UCAs and keys. This raised it about 2.75". I didn't do anything to the back.

Wheels are 20x9 with Goodyear 285/60/20s. No issues. 4341cda5c9a9d47dd005a81ed064888e.jpgfd4e8809c792c8cf1b7755ec8cabd296.jpg5c80bd8252844a55f6953d0c9a3d410e.jpgf5ca6d12746c82fd6ae15bd42a8a3adb.jpg

I see some Fox Coilovers in there... Which model did you go with? Are you only using the fox's for the level?

They are just remote res, not coilover. I wish somebody made them for the 2500.
