I'll be pulling the kicker subwoofer with integrated amp out of my truck in the next week or sale and selling it along with other accessories. No damage, works great, and only reason I'm selling is I'm getting rid of the truck. $600

I can get a new one from my local Chevy dealer for $530, but I'd give you $375 shipped for your used sub, if it's for a crew cab. $350 is about all I've seen the used ones go for. LMK, can do PayPal

Sounds about right, I bought mine used for $350 shipped on this forum.

I have a pending sale on the truck. If the buyer doesn't care for the sub, I'll pull it out

Question....Will the Sub for the Bose system still work on a regular system?? Same wire taps??? Any info appreciated, thanks!

This system is exactly what I was looking for. Been the route of custom boxes, subs, amps etc in my younger days.

This will satisfy my "mid-life crisis" project, as my wife calls it, just fine. lol

Installed the full kicker upgrade in my 2015 gmc sierra crewcab non-bose, sub and under dash dsp/amp with kicker ks series front and rear door speakers, install was simple for most part but the hardest part was installing door speakers very nerve racking pulling/popping door panels apart, also bought door speaker wiring harness to keep from having to cut wires and splicing door speakers to keep it clean, installed extra foam around speaker mount harness along with double sided black tape to keep new speaker mounts from having any rattle, install is very clean and preserves a total factory look. The highs are crisper and slightly louder the sub adds extra depth to the sound and fills the cab with clean music , I give this system a 4 out of 5 for sound , cost is a 4 out of 5 as well , 5 out of 5 for the clean factory looking install, complaints I have about system first off its not worth the 1249.00 retail price tag I got mine for 925.00 which is probably about right for this system but no more , 2nd is the rear door speaker plays at very low volume the dsp keeps most of highs and mids in front so not really worth the rear door speaker upgrade to me since there not putting out much , and last complaint I have is if you pay close attention to the mid to low range frequency say 200hz-600hz range its lacking a bit so there is a slight void there , but I'm satisfied for most part its a heck of a lot better then the factory system. I can now hear my music with the windows rolled down going down the highway wind no longer drowns it out

So does anyone have any feedback regarding how this sub feels to the rear seat passenger? Curious, as my kids are always back there, what it feels like to someone sitting on top of it?

Thanks

My kids think it is fun how it vibrates the seat when it is turned up and they have their ears covered. They barely know it is there when listening to music at lower volume.

Ok, so I installed this upgrade and I can say, that it was worth the money.

Pros- Front speakers sound great, the base hits hard and kept the system looking factory.

Cons - Rear speakers aren't as loud as the fronts and running the wires from the engine compartment was a PAIN IN THE ASS..

I definitely recommend this upgrade if you are not looking into installing a full aftermarket system.

Yeah, I recommend going through the firewall side with a fishtape or a wire coat hanger as I did. Black tape the end of the power wire to the hanger/fishtape and pull it through that way. I fought with it for about 15 minutes from inside the cab before I did that!

I got it in and am happy with the sound. Installation was a bitch. You definitely need a fish tape or something to go through the firewall. It's also worth noting that the plug will come off of the wire that goes through the firewall. Getting to the wires that you have to splice to is kind of a pain because of the tape.

One thing that helped me was extending the ground wire that connects next to the emergency break. I don't know if it's because I got mine used , but the ground wire was shorter than the rest of the wires and when it's ran around the floor to the back you need all the extra wire that's available

    • Thanks for all the help so far!   I did try right from 2026 right down to 2021, and only from 2023 down lets me select the option for tire psi change, but I get the vehicle not supported error!   I'll definitely try it under Chevrolet after work today, and I'll get the sensor number from gm for my truck tire sensors. And I'll let you know if it works for me under Chevrolet!   And if that doesn't work, I'm going to guess that what @Atlas said about maybe I have a different body control module could be true!
    • From where I'm sitting this sounds like a compatibility problem. I'm assuming the 2007 was a 900-series truck, and not an 800-series (they were sold side-by-side in dealerships that model year), since it starts and runs.   This is why I HATE post-2006 vehicles. Everything becomes a huge problem when you try to keep the thing running for longer than the manufacturer has designed it to.    I can't remember when Global-A architecture started - either '10 or '11. For your sake, you had better hope it's '11, or you're going to be spending some BIG money to correct this cluster-eff. That's something you need to find out before doing anything else. You may have several computers bricked ... but the fact that it runs tells me you MIGHT be ok here.     EDIT: Just did a quick refresher. You're screwed. This is Global-A. The 2 systems are NOT compatible in the slightest. Once you get the correct engine in there that IS compatible, you're going to need to see how many computers are locked. Absolute NIGHTMARE to straighten out, too. Your buddy might be better off cutting his losses and finding something else.   Welcome to post-2006 vehicle electronics. This is why I quit the industry, and drive nothing built after 1994. This stuff takes all the fun out of wrenching!

    • True, hard to say what differences there may or may not be between Chev and GM as well as a production year or mid year part change either.    I just found it odd that under the Sierra choice on the Autel that many of the last few years of production year did not include the choice of changing the tire pressure but if that is an Autel thing or a GM thing as to why the choices were not there. Knowing what tpms sensors are on the truck should give some guidance into which choices on the tool even make sense to try as I wouldn't give up just yet with the tool but I guess he will see what if anything he comes up with if he finds out a bit more info and tries a few more things on the Autel.
    • I'm sure if you went to a junkyard where you go in and pull the part off the truck yourself, not a used part place where they do it for you, you can get that part on it's own.  Depending on if and what else you would be buying, and time of day, they might even just skip over adding it as a item to the bill.
