Compensation For Problems

I'm wondering the exact same thing regarding compensation of some type. I've taken my truck in 2x for the crackle speakers. Both times they have not been able to fix it. I spoke to my service manager and he said they tried installing "Infinity" speakers in the dash and there was still crackle sound. Sounds like there is major interference going on.

 

I listen to A.M sports radio 90% of the time in my truck. I'm beginning to get use to the horrible A.M radio crackle, but I shouldn't have to. I was ready to settle and pay my own money for replacement front dash speakers..... That's how tired I am of it. But, the manager said they tried with a different truck and the same problem existed.

 

There is STILL NO FIX! This is ridiculous! I wish I knew all the GMC owners in my area, I'd organize a rally where all owners drop them off right in front of the service center demanding items to be fixed.

At the dealer now. Very nice people here. The service managers great even though gm sucks. Trucks fixed filled up and getting washed now. Hes starting the process to get me a free bumper to bumper warranty now. Wont know how many miles or years for another week. He said if the seats break again then we will start the next step of getting me a different truck. He did say so far my truck is the first hes had real problems with.

It's sad that in 2014 a simple am/fm radio is the subject of so much dissatisfaction. Its hard to understand how such a problem got thru to a production vehicle.

Yes. I got a free bow tie ball cap. After buying two 2014s, both complete turds. Now Im too broke to hire a lemon law rep.

Seems like you didn't have any business buying a truck in the first place if it was going to bring you that close to being broke....

Thats not a fair statement, he did say he bought a second one!

More likely took a hit on the second purchase too!

Anyways just say'n were all in this together, we shouldn't have to be swapping or re purchasing a second vehicle to begin with.

This is GM's monster! We are the fools that supported them.

My dealer gave me oem splash guards and installed them for free.

Ive bought FIVE Silverados in the last SEVEN years. Only the two 2014s were junk. Have you not ever given any company a SECOND CHANCE? There will be no third. Good luck when you go to trade your perfect truck in. Im shure the resale value of these trucks will be great with all the problems and recalls(now and future)GM have issued. Guess you missed the sarcasm. Oh by the way, I already possess the title to my truck. You?
