I have a muscle truck. I’ve had it for 7 years, have posted a few times about it. I couldn’t possibly add anything to it I bought it finished. Just do maintenance and only put about a thousand miles a year on it when I need a V8 injection. I do enjoy all your postings on your latest rides keep them coming.

I guess I'm the only one doing anything with their car? Maybe Ryan finally drove his! I have only made one post per day lately unless replying to someone.

What are you having wrapped, and what version/brand?

Fyi, if the 1LE hood wrap is the same vynil they use for the decklid blackout, meguairs ultimate polish works fantastic by hand. I had a scuff from the dealer sticker and one try by hand smoothed it out.(that vynil does not like IPA).

I had to explain to my Corvette that it was nothing personal, and that I'd miss it, but it's being evicted in about 7 weeks when the new 2019 ZO6 gets in.

Nice! Congrats! How tall is that ceiling? I have always thought about getting a lift. For all the back seat room the 6th gen camaro has our kids would have more room in a Vette hatch. but, laws and safety and stuff.  Not that it stopped my parents from sticking me in the hatch of a 76 when I was a kid. (No, I'm not kidding)

The SS is at the PPF and tint shop. Went ahead and getting the pricey Xpel Prime tint too. Hope it is as good as they claim (nano ceramic, lasts forever and blocks 88% of heat). Should be ready for pickup tomorrow, but can't wash until 48 hours after install so I know what I'll be doing Saturday night.

The ceiling is 10'-6" and the lift was approximately $2,500.00 delivered and installed about 4 years ago.

It's a Direct Lift and included loading rams, HD movable jack tray and (4) drip trays.

It's great for storage and working under the cars!

Love the new Camaro's and was actually looking at the last generation 2015 Z/28 in the dealership when I bought my Corvette. -but the Corvette was less money.

Yeah, I was looking at some of those xpress jacks, and you cam get a WAY better deal on a four post.  I would need to raise the ceiling a foot or two though, and that would be a pain.

On another note, while I won't do it while on warranty, I was looking up a guy I have talked too who was known locally for LS engine tuning, and installing LS's in just about everything. I takes to him when I had my 1967 Firebird and while he told me he couldn't help because he was seriously overloaded with LS work he didn't want me to help sort something on the custom Pontiac V8, but he asked me to bring it buy sometime because he wanted to check out the car(it blew up before I could, lol) . Was reading the Facebook page and saw some LT cars so I was getting excited(guy stayed on the phone with me for a while trying to help any way he could, thinking of shops that would have time or ideas, etc, kind of person you would happily hand your keys to with no fear) , then I read an even more exciting part, they started tuning cars for Hot Rod Garage!

Their shop is/was just a few miles from my house.

I bet that 1.5-3 month wait has gotten even longer, maybe I should make my 2021 post warranty tune appointment now

I was tempted by a 2015 Z28 also. At the time I was going to a Chevy dealer regularly for my work, I have no idea how(if you remember the insane mark ups in 2015s), but in january 2016 they still had a 2015, and it was qualifying for the annual 20% off promo to rid the lots of the oldest stock, and maybe another dealer specific markdown. It was priced at 50k. :O cheaper than some 2SS's they had.

I was also tempted by a 2015 Z/28.  3 days to late had an appt to see it on a friday and it sold the tuesday prior.  Oh well I like my 18 better :)

I've got a lift ... but no Camaro ... nor a floor to mount the lift to.

Got a 10k lb. 2-post (top brace) for $2k on sale at Greg Smith Equipment. By picking it up in Hudson, NH plus the sale price, I saved $450. Couldn't pass it up. Only crappy thing is the lift has been sitting outside in it's crate for 5 months now.

It's coming though, soon (the floor, not the Camaro). All my money is in this .... and I mean ALL ... Not a dime left for toys, unfortunately. Maybe a few years down the road.

Lol, yes, a 6th SS is within a hair of a 5th ZL1 for most of a quarter mile, despite being down 90~ HP
