Bull rings will not work in 2014 GMC Sierra - Any ideas

I recently purchased a 2014 GMC Sierra Crew Cab 6.5 ft truck. I fish a lot using an 8 foot Scadden pontoon boat. I just put a Tonneau top on the truck thinking I can tie the pontoon

boat on top of the top and put all my gear under the tonneau cover. Then I was thinking I could buy some bull rings for the 4 holes that are in the corners of the bed and tie my boat down using the Bull Rings or a similar product. Come to find out the Bull ring Truck Tie down anchors will not work on a 2014 GMC Sierra. I called Bull Ring to see if they would work and they said they

only work for 2013 or older.

Does any one out there know of a similar product that will work for my truck?

Thanks for your reply in advance!!

Are these for the holes on top of the bed rails or for the side wall holes inside the bed?

These are made by Bullring. They're called "Chevy Bullets". You are correct. They don't make them for the top rail. The reason I got when I emailed them was this: Because GM designed the bumper step they had to make the "hand-hold" available and keep it open for that purpose. Bull Ring couldn't fill that hand-hold for safety reasons.

you may have to make your own, i just looked and it doesnt look that hard. there is a hole in the bottom, drop in a eye bolt with a nit on it to stop it at the height you want then go underneath and put another nut and washer on it and snug it up.

you can even have it recessed inside so its hidden but would probably still meet your needs.
