What Catch can do you like for your 900 5.3?

I also have a Mike Norris catch can. I was surprised to see how much it caught in the first 5K miles it was installed. Now draining the can is regular maintenance when I preform an oil change.

Mike is a great guy. His shop is always packed with vehicles. I plan on having him put headers on my car hopefully early next yr

Ryan, I ordered an RX (flipped a coin) for my truck. I note that they say it does not need to be cleaned. Any issues with yours? I also note that RX praised the Norris CC when I talked to them.

Last drain on the camaro. It is collecting very little which imo is good

ELITE ENGINEERING E2 on my Sierra. I like the finish, quality, and mounting bracket better than the rest. It collected less than 1 ounce in 1000 miles. It's very easy to open and clean out at every oil change. I highly recommend them!

Here is my Conceptual Polymer setup on my 2013. The oil in the bottles is from roughly 1000 miles since my last dump. Left side is a CP standard filter for primary separation and the right side is a CP high efficiency filter to get what gets past the first one. I set an oil filter on the fuse box for perspective. I like this setup so I can actually see what and how much is being trapped. Easy to dump with no mess. Definitely catching every drop of oil going thru the PCV line.

I have the JEGS to be installed probably tomorrow.. Curious, it comes with the same mounting hardware as the CP Setup, I found the screws on the top don't go all the way flush into the top of the filter- is that normal? Looks the same way on yours Cowpie. I like that location may look into using it for the JEGS, however- was thinking..

Do you think there is any validity to putting the filter units LOWER than the Orifice line and (obviously if its lower than the Orifice), lower than the intake hose? This would make any condensation not sucked through vacuum be forced (by gravity) down either lines back into the filter?

Not sure that is really makes much difference about having it lower. But if you mount it in the same location I did, it will be about the heigh of the valve cover, hence lower than the intake manifold. As a comparison, the CP unit I use, each jar, is about 2" x 4".
