Rally Edition shipping wheels

So apparently some of the new Rally Edition is being shipped with a solid black 20" (no holes or spokes) wheel that is removed and the real wheel is being installed at the dealership. They are them shipped back to GM and re-used. They appear to have nice 20" tires on them. Anyone have pics? Seems like they may look awesome!

Nothing new. This method is being used to ship most all the high end wheels. The wheels are shipped to the dealer and swapped there to prevent theft while in transit.

what find funny is on this wheel gimic is they charge you for the base wheels in the base package then upcharge you for premium wheels(which is inflated and rediculous as it is) but you only get one set the premium wheels. I know this is how it works with lots of things. And I guess this is where they make their money

Man, I really like the look of that truck and those wheels. Has a nice pro-street look.

I like the looks of these on certain classic trucks. They are a good look for many trucks though, even seen them painted other colors.

Never have to clean up brake dust.... Only really seems to work on lowered trucks, but it does strangely.

Glad we don't have to worry about the salt issues here in Texas, but if I did, I would have to use a set of these rims & caps during those winter months.

I don't think those transit rims are designed to drive on the highway for any long distance and as all rims are designed to cool the brakes through air circulation those will not circ. air.
