Looking for a bit of help on these

I got the quick lifts and just can't seem to see how everyone thinks the ride is good. My front end just cranks over speed bumps And bad roads. I also have the rear adjustable and is no better. The ride on bumpy roads is awful.

My local shop also can't seem to align it properly so my steering wheel sits slightly to the right.

I also want to adjust the shocks but they don't wanna turn by hand. Is left softer and right stiff?

I just am a bit disappointed in what I ended up with I actually don't like driving my truck Any more. Any help would be appreciated to help the ride and alignment!

Everyone seems to have such positive experiences so I want that lol

Those knobs are a pia some times. I suggest taking the knob off and greasing them. You shouldn't have to do that but it will help. I have my fronts on 3 or 4 and rears on 5 I think. My ride is smoother than the oem ranchos .

Turn the knobs counter-clockwise as far as you can -- this is the '1' position, the softest setting. Turning the knob 90 degrees clockwise will have you at the '3' setting. The range is 1 to 9. The knobs can be hard to turn so you may want to grease them as Chad has suggested. The grease has the added benefit of being a 2nd line of defense against water getting in. I highly recommend Super Lube NLGI-2, it has teflon (PTFE) in it. Any grease will help though.

My settings:

Front 3

Rear 4

If I have a lot of weight in the bed I usually turn the rear up to 5 or 6.

The alignment issue has nothing to do with the quicklifts. Your alignment shop screwed up. Take it back or find a better shop.

Sounds like you have them cranked all the way up, the higher you turn them the harder the become to turn. Counter clock wise all the way back to 1, best settings for me is 4 in the front 3 in the rear. I really like the rears, personally not a fan of the fronts, the spring is too stiff.

Yah I had them on 1. So ride not great. I change the rears to 4 which seems to help the back.

The fronts the spring is just to stiff. Just bouncing all over the place. Definitely disappointed

I still need to take this to a different alignment shop to see if they can help. The dealer says they can align it.

I should have just gone with a full suspension lift at this point cause I started with level that had a horrible ride then went to these which is no better.

Out of curiosity is your truck a Z71?

Turn them up to 3 or 4 in the front, I found they were just as harsh at 1 as they are at 3 or 4, but the body roll and bouncing is greatly reduced.

These use an oem spring which I think is their downfall.

What would be a better spring?

Is anyone running these on a z71? If so any issues? I am considering for my 2015 Silverado cc z71, however the customer svs rep at rancho told me that are not compatible with my vehicle. However, it looks like some fellow z71 owners have installed these?

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

I called the Rancho tech support hotline, and they told me that the quicklift RS999901 is not compatible with the 2015 silverado Z71, that it won't add any lift, and that there is also a fitment issue.

Based on the feedback above that does NOT appear to be the case, which I find to be very puzzling. Unless it is compatible with Sierra Z71, but not with Silverado Z71, which would be even odder.

Given my strong desire to avoid potential headaches, think I will go with the bilstein 5100 adjustables which others have given pretty high marks. thanks everyone!

Has anyone added a 1.5" Zone body lift to Rancho Quicklift and shocks? I'm thinking about doing it and wondering how it is.
