So i read another post the other day on silverado sierra that on the top height adjusted slot it's rough, anyone else think so? I'm going to try to get mine installed in the next three days. Most here have said they were much better than the stock ranchos.

I went max height on my '14 Sierra and it rides better than stock ever did. It handles railroad crossings etc. MUCH better.

Also, I don't know you you got your answer about the snap rings, mine were in a plastic bag with the shocks. Hopefully you found yours as well.

Glad to hear it! Any pics of your sierra?

What do they look like? Are the snap rings the black perch the spring rest on? Or the little silver rings?

The little silver rings snap into the grooves. Also, now that I think about it I think they were already on the shock body, but at the lowest setting. They are sort of a pain because they don't have little holes for snapring pliers, but I eventually got them to go.

Tried to install struts and got shut down. Didn't have a deep wall socket for top nut on strut. Luckily I figured out I needed one before I pulled it out.

Waiting to install my 5100 struts, does the top nut to disassemble the strut from coil require a deep socket? Hard to tell looking in the wheel well.
