Alright, here it is, everything I've done today. Pretty busy but well worth it. Got it cleaned this morning at the local car wash (did a decent job).

Got back home and started off by replacing the front pads and rotors with Power Stop brakes and rotors severe duty truck and tow model

Moved on to the rear assist springs, easy install. Also hit the u bolts with the impact to make sure they were tight

Went ahead and covered the front and rear bowties with black vinyl, need to redo the rear bc I messed up cutting it so a little gold is showing

And last but not least I finally installed my bumper step LED's! This is my favorite of all the mods I've done so far, it just looks cool lol

I think the step light in red would even better. Double as a running light.

I like white bc it ties in with the white LED cargo lights in the bed

these look very cool, and I love the step footwell oznium lights - how did you wire them in? Did you splice them into the license plate light wires?

No bc they would not be a legal running light. They are wired into the cargo LED'S in the bed so when you hit the button on the dash they come on with them

See if you can pull a part number off a front and rear caliper. Im curious how similar they are to the 800 and 900 trucks

I know they are different because I've tried looking for stainless braided lines for it this weekend and no one makes them yet. And they also have different part numbers from the gmt900 trucks so I wouldn't want to buy them and risk the chance of them not fitting

I'll look for them when I do my next tire rotation

I am curious for when gm drops the brembo package for them

I guess you can always hook them in with the reverse lights so they come on when the truck is in reverse or when you hit the unlock button on the key fob, but then you can only activate it that way you can not keep them on like you can if they are wired in with the cargo lights in the bed

yeah, that's true - I'd like to be able to keep them on for an extended period of time like you did or it kind of defeats the purpose - I wonder if you put red lights in there and wired them to the taillights if that would be legal to run all the time at night?

put in the red for running lights, put in the white for cargo and wire them to the different harnesses...?
