What about Black Silverado/Sierra Photos?

Recommended Posts

You living in Texas ever get pulled over because of them?

No, they are clear lenses with black housings. They are also reflective as required by DOT regs. If they were smoked, I'm sure I would have been stopped by now.

Buffed the truck last week to get rid of the swirl marks! Finally found a good combo of polish/pad to use. But still, never buying a black track again! Lol

I hear you. I've had 6 black vehicles in a row...and said I'd NEVER buy another black vehicle. Having said that, today, get a paint correction and something like Opticoat 2.0 applied and you will have an ALWAYS FLAWLESS, and EASY TO MAINTAIN black vehicle. You'd be surprised how trouble-free black paint can be...nice truck, btw.

Great pics BTW. Black is such an awesome color choice when new or kept like new. But keeping it looking like new takes a lot of effort, time and desire. Every time I see a perfect finish on a black vehicle, I know the owner has spent a lot of effort (and perhaps money) to have that appearance. Nothing beats the looks of black when clean and in perfect condition.

My two babies. Truck is only 2 weeks old. WRX is 8 months.

I had a black 2001 LT Z71. Replaced it with a champagne 2008 LT Z71. After that I said I wouldn't get a black one again. Wrong. Saw this LTZ on the lot and could not walk away from it. I love me a black truck. WRX is dark gray metallic. Not much better to keep clean.

The dealer sold me on the Simonize glass coat? anyone else have this applied when new and how is it holding up? i keep my truck waxed all the time but so far the paint has held up against swirls or anything like that
