Ordered 2015 Sierra Denali

On sat I finally ordered a 2015 Sierra Denali 1500 black on black short box crew 4x4. Options are 6.2, sunroof, brake controller, driver alert and drop down blueray. I am in Seattle and was working with Laura to get one of their trucks but the distance was to much and I found a local dealer to get pretty close to their prices.

I got it 53250 before rebates, hopefully with rebates (when the truck comes) I will get the truck for just under 51k. MSRP is close to 60k, I'm feeling pretty good about the deal. Pretty close to Laura prices and def cheaper when I calculate in flying gas/trailer back. Plus the dealer offers lifetime warranty which is a plus to me

I placed the order on sat (order code 1100- Premliminary Order Accepted) and just got off with gm chat and they said my order has been accepted by gm and I'm at order code 2000 (or 2200 forget) and waiting for a target production date. Not sure what the next step is?

One question I do have for people that have their trucks, gm website says the truck comes standard with a handle for both the driver and passenger but I ordered it with the E5D: LPO-Assist Handle, Interior Driver Side "A" Pillar... So am a little confused, can anyone explain?

My 15' Denali did not come standard with the Drivers A-Pillar Handle. I believe it is also a dealer installed option.

so it comes with a passenger as seen in Dangers picture, but no driver and that is what i ordered?

When you got to the gm build site and pick denali standard features, interior says

"Assist handle, front passenger and driver on A-pillars"

when you are building it... I'm even more confused because I have black interior
Assist Handle Package 50$
Passenger Side Handle - Shale, Includes A Pillar Trim, For Use on Light Duty 1500 Models with Cocoa/Dune Interior (4DP). The Assist Handle Package is designed to offer easy entrance and exit from your vehicle. It includes an A-pillar trim
I was going to order the 22s but they wouldn't let me have the 20s also so I think I will just try to find a take off set or ebay it. How is the ride with the oem 22s? Anyone know what tires they come with oem so I can price them out

that is what I'm trying to figure out. I have the driver listed but don't see anything about the passenger and the gm site says it should be standard... which I quoted post #6

under ordered options

E5D: LPO-Assist Handle, Interior Driver Side "A" Pillar

nothing about a passenger handle that I can see

Concerning the wheels,

We've got a 14 Denali with the optional 22's they're shipped with Bridgestone Duelers on them. If you've ever seen the 2007-2014 Tahoe/Suburban etc etc it's basically the same tire just in a 22 inch size. The ride is very smooth.

I can't compare to the 20's because I only ran the 20's for about 87 miles lol.

IMO the 22's are a good balance between ride comfort and rim size at least IMO.

Hurricano - If you checked the box for E5D: LPO-Assist Handle, Interior Driver Side "A" Pillar, it will be shipped and installed at the dealer & should be light grey for black interior. The RH A-Pillar handle is standard issue.

Danger - Truck looks great man!! And I agree with you about the pricing in Canada!

Does your spec sheet say it has both? Pretty sure I grabbed every option but I dont have both

I'm sure it's wrong but it says the 6.2 is flex fuel? Did the dealer say if it wasn't? Because I'm almost 100% sure it's not lol.

It just seemed odd.
