Back in high school a buddy had probably 3 Chevy truck which one was a 65 C10 fleetside with a built 350 (not sure how built but it wasn't a stock 350) and I remember he cranked it up with just headers and it made my insides vibrate, literally. He still has it but he lowered it. Back then his plan for it was to built it into a drag truck but I guess he changed his mind, maybe because of the weight.

this is what it when i was in high school. my dad painted it yellow in 1989. my grandfather bought is new, then my dad started driving it and then I got it when I was 16. lots of memories

1972 Chevy Vega, destroyed from inside, bright orange on the outside.

 

1982 brown ford granada, four door. Brother took it to for it a spin one weekend; my brother returned to the house but the car didn't. Dad was p'od because my brother didnt want to say where car was. 1 week later, bro brings car home. Him and his buddy had spray painted blue the whole body; left the soft top white. They had bought a bunch of spray cans from kmart and decided it needed a makeover. Of course, dad was fuming.

To school I rode the city transit bus.

My first vehicle was a used 1994 Pontiac Grand Am I purchased in 2005. Sold it 1 year later for $325 with a blown head gasket.

Being my Dad was a racer I drove a 67 Chevy II L-79 with a built manual shifted powerglide 3200 TCI converter and took out the 350 horse cam and installed a 30-30 Duntov Solid lifter camshaft and installed 4.56 gear set and J-bolt CE slapper bars.

And on Friday's after school (if not working) it got a wash and a set of Mickey Thompson 28x9's bolted on and smoked Grand National's, T-Types, Stang GT's Vettes and all of the others that came along.

10th through 12th I had the car and by the end of my sophomore school year everyone knew my car after kickin all of the seniors asses that thought they had hot cars !!

I'm 24 now, but through High School I had a 96 Impala SS that I dumped way to much into over the years lol

 

 

That is what it looked like through high school. After that I changed the bumpers out..

I'm young, but sure wish I still had that truck. I had 2004 Silverado 1500 crew cab 2wd. I had it lifted with tires and decked out. No performance mods though except loud a** cat-back exhaust.

 

Now I have 03 1500HD crew cab, but it ain't the same . ??
