My HC has everything but the offroad screen and as someone who is an avid off-roader I think that screen is just a gimmick anyway. It does have hill descent and everything else besides the Z71 sticker, cheesy "skid plates", and Ranchos. If you get these trucks somewhere that you need a screen to tell you you're too far off camber then you've already f'd up [emoji23] bb62ad72aeb614e554cd004223a8f0dd.jpga7e2150533df9867005aa209192eb761.jpg

His tire size is 33/12.5 /20. Can't remember which tire he went with. But it was a good 1

I voted for the LTZ Z71. I don't prefer the look of the high country wheels, badges, grille, or brown interior. Plus, cost is a factor for me. For the same money, you can have a completely stock high country, or a LTZ Z71 with a level, bigger tires, tint, exhaust, etc. Personally, I would much rather have the latter.

Well I think I got it figured out:

If I did a Z71 LTZ I would get aftermarket wheels $1100 plus tires, Side steps $500 - $1100, I was quote $1000 to get the bumpers color matched. So I would be $2600 - $3200 on top of the vehicle.

High country: I like the wheels so I would keep them and add tires only, side steps are standard, so are bumpers.

I was quote $2058 more for the High Country. So money wise its actually cheaper.

Makes perfect sense. If an optioned/aftermarket 2LTZ is more than a High Country with just a couple add-ons or upgrades, you absolutely come out better. I like both, actually. To me, a High Country with chrome bumpers would be nice also. With summit white paint, not white diamond, of course! :P

I read on here somewhere that adding a Z71 package to a truck deletes things like cooled seats and some other little things. That's a deal breaker for me. I'd rather have a 4WD High Country than a Z71 LTZ. Also, it may not be fair but when the HC shows up for service it's going to get done first. They know how much you spent on that HC and that makes you a VIP at the dealership. Live it up once in a while and grab the top of the line and enjoy it. Just my $.02.

I have a 2015 LTZ Z71 and I have cooled seats. I have everything that HC has except for the usual the color matched bumpers, interior, and HC Wheels. I love my truck I just can't stand the brown interior.

I had a 09 ltz+ with black bumpers, grill, leather, and chrome 20's. I looked at a hc, and wasn't crazy about the color of the leather. Priced out a ltz with everything I wanted, the hc wound up being cheaper (I wanted black bumpers, and grill) Wound up locating a black hc with the 6.2. I wasn't crazy about the wheels, and steps. so I put a little lift on, aftermarket wheels, bigger tires (fixed the 80 mph shimmy) power boards, painted the grill, and have gotten more compliments than any vehicle I ever owned. Everyone that gets in it loves the interior, which I hated at first. I think when you're outside looking in, its fugly, but when you're inside it looks nice. All my rides get window tint anyway.
