Ltz z71 or High Country

The Sierra Z71 Off Road Package includes upgraded wheels, high capacity air cleaner, hill descent control, Underbody shields, Z71 badge, Monotube Rancho Socks.

It's a little more than the past appearance package.

The 15's also have an off road screen on the display that shows the up/down and side to side angles of the vehicle.

Don't think the Chevys have the off road screen. Once you get a nice truck with tow pkg and 20's your left with the shocks, badges and PLASTIC under body shields for the Z71. And the hill descent feature, forgot about that. I wouldn't think somebody considering High Country would care about hill descent pkg.

Pretty sure all 2015s have it. At least 4x4s. My rental was a basic LT and it did.

The HC option is available on HD's for 15 so it could end up a tow pig for someone with good taste.

If you decide on the HC you have to be wearing cowboy boots and a cowboy hat or they won't sell you one.

I would get the Z71 just as a matter of personal preference. The painted front bumper is going to chip, and the High Country badging is a wee bit gaudy for my taste.

I had neither but they were happy to sell me one and after 4 trucks with the cheap, boring, depressing black plastic interiors it was a nice change of pace, or maybe my old ass is experiencing a change of taste. LOL. It is your choice where you plunk down your cash, just remember your the only one that needs to be happy.

My 2015 LTZ 1500 4x4 Silverado has the off road screen.

JHD Hill descent is standard on Denali 1500 (but not Z71 because of the magnetic ride control). Not sure why it's not available on High Country.
