The bump stop cap is different. That's the large metal cup thing that slides down over the top of the shock. I'm missing a tiny snap ring that sits in a grove near the top of the piston rod.

My bad. I see the part you're talking about now. Either way, call Bilstein and they'll send you the right piece.

Are there any companies like carli or thuren that build high end kits for chevys? Coming from a dodge and there isn't a lot of competition for carli or thuren components.

Called Bilstein first thing this morning. The shipped out the missing circlip ring. They told me that little piston rod snap ring holds your top hat in place, so it is necessary!

Got mine from shock warehouse. One came without the hardware. Shock warehouse wouldn't return emails or calls. Had to get another shock from somebody else. when I called Bilstein they said they couldn't take the one back with no hardware as they didn't sell it. Shock warehouse still won't respond. The shocks are nice however. Ride much smoother than the rancho's.
