RC 2.5" Ride Quality

I'm interested in the 2.5" rough country level. I've read conflicting opinions on the change in ride quality after install. Some say they don't feel any change at all and some say it rides much rougher. If you've installed this kit let me know how the ride is. (I have a crew cab 2wd with 18" wheels if that makes any difference).

Handles pretty much the same as stock, I did not notice any decrease suspension performance.

I have the RC 2.5" kit and I think it rides a bit rougher than stock. It's worth it to me as I needed the ground clearance up front.

most people associate a rougher ride once they level their truck, but most of those people do not take into consideration that they prob put on a LRE tire. I put my RC level on and rode on my OE tires for about a month or so and did not notice any difference in ride. but once I put my bfg a/t LRE on I did not a little stiffer ride. nothing to worry about though as it does not make it rough enough to not enjoy the ride.

Agree with spx1000, It is a little firmer but doesn't bottom out when hitting bigger bumps. I have been running with the 2.5" kit for over 5,000km now and love it. Installed 275-65-18 BFG A/T KO2 on it and it affected more the ride than the lift.

agreed, its mostly the tire not the leveling kit

Nice to hear but what's the deal with steering clicking noise issues I too want to get the 2.5rc kit but have been hearing about "steering issues" .

2" seems to actually ride better on my truck. i hear too many people with the 2.5 and changing geometry. i wouldn't go that high unless i checked out the angles.

i have a 2 inch and my initial impression is it rides better. Idk why but its def not any worse. still riding around on the stock 18's

i have the exact same experience with my 2". i've heard stories on the 1.5 and 2.5 but everyone with the 2" seems to think its a smoother, higher, ride.
