Where are Canadians getting their tires?

I'm looking at getting BFG K02 tires and can't find any decent pricing on them anywhere. It's nearly 2000$ after taxes.

Are there any other options??

I would strongly recommend buying from a local vendor instead of buying them online. This way if anything happens, like a defected tire, you know you have someone to go to. And DONT get them from KAL Tire because they would mess up your truck. I know too many stories of people getting **** over by Kal tire and myself inuded. So anywhere but kal tire. If you want more info on

My experience with them, you can look up my thread.

Check Discount Tire. They've got good prices, and they'll ship wherever you want to have them installed.

I buy mine there.

you should be able to get those tires for 200-250 a piece plus install in the states. Your going to lose what 15-20 cents on the dollar I still think you would save 500 bucks, just depends if the drive over the boarder is worth it or not.

call bodykit warehouse in brampton. i was quoted 275 each for the KO2's in 275/60/20

I use Tire Rack, get them shipped to an installer across the border and do a run over to have them installed. You can get your complete total on there as well, which will help you know if it's worth it with the current exchange rate

I usually just buy and have them installed at Costco if I can't find a better price elsewhere. I've heard of guys going across the border for things like tires and custom exhaust but it's a fair hike for me and hardly worth my time for the savings involved, especially with the dollar so low.

I bought from a local shop because the price difference wasn't worth it on mine. I have the previous generation BFG's that I bought a little over a year ago.

I get the local dealer to price match canadian tire. So far I've gotten two sets of LT 18" gernerals installed for $1100. They also have the cheapest install rates around. Canadian Tire regularly has sales at 25% off on a lot of tires. My experience is that shopping around and bartering is the only way to get a deal, if not you're gonna get hosed. With that said I doubt you'll find a great deal on the KO2 since they're new.

Hey guys, I work at Canadian tire waterdown. If you need tires definitely give me a shout and I can give you a price. We can usually beat most prices. I could sell them 275/60r20 KO's for 265 plus install and taxes. Canadian tire has a 5 year unlimited mile warranty on tires for usually 10 bucks a tire. We can do warranties even if you wear the tire bald or they get noisy. Our shop is a bunch of really good mechanics. Not your typical Canadian tire service. We do lots of bigger truck tires, rims, and lifts and levels. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I can double check the price I got on mine last year if you like.
