I would want a engine that made it to say 175,000 miles instead of 8k, just saying LOL

I want GM to realize that their icons on knobs and buttons and font size on clock and temperature are too small.. The demographic of buyers includes those that need reading glasses to to able to read the GM icons and fonts.

One size bigger would be enough. Dodge is at least two sizes bigger so it is not normal for GM to be so shortsighted (pardon the pun)

Also I do NOT want anything like a Ford Ecobust Turbo engine crap.........I want as simple a V8 engine as can be made under todays gas mileage concerns. Turbos are for sports cars and diesels.

I also experimented with my limited slip differential and find it is basically useless in snow unless you turn the traction control off, for the rural snow covered back roads where you could use 4 x 4 , but heck limited slip 2wd should be enough and save the 4 x4 for the deep stuff. Anyone else seen the difference ?

Unfortunately traction control is practically useless on most new vehicles while driving off the highway. The slightest bit of slip and it pulls throttle which can be dangerous. I only leave it on while on the highway because it works well there. When it snows, I turn off traction control on pretty much every vehicle I drive.

8ft bed on something other than a regular cab.

Better headlights

A cargo light that isn't utterly useless

Is it possible to order without a radio and speakers?

Improved rear seat headrests. Need one in the middle. Just thinking safety for my kids

im glad GM hasnt gone the route of the ecoboost everything like ford has... it seems like 95 percent of the f150,s and everything ford makes has a 3.5L ecoboost

Ya including the '16 Raptor and then new GT Concept (not Mustang, the next modern GT40 which is the GT for the consumer market). I know they didn't just slap a turbo on a V6 where they did actual R&D, but they make it sound like it's some new bright idea kind of thing when hot rodders have been putting turbos on V8s since the 30s and Japanese auto makers have been doing that for years. I myself would rather have a natural aspirated V8 over a turbo V6 or even turbo V8. I wouldn't mind a supercharged blown V8 though lol. I'm a supercharger guy, not really into turbos unless it's on a diesel. But then again, I'll take a turbo engine over a nitrious engine. I hate nitrous.

I don't understand the negativity towards the Ecoboost. Its a great engine design. While Ford didn't reinvent the wheel, adding turbos to a gas pickup have never been done before. The general mindset was that adding a turbo to an engine would sacriface low end power and increase top end power, where the turbo would be at operating speeds, making it a use less application on a pickup. Ford basically took the power band from a diesel, removed all of the high ownership and maintenance costs associated with them, and slapped it on a 1500 series truck. You get gobs of torque at low rpm, and horsepower in the higher rpms. This creates a great towing and daily driving experience.

I don't hate the Ecoboost, I just don't like how Ford is making it seems like it's this huge idea like nobody else has put a turbo on a factory vehicle. Then they want to put it in everything and sooner or later you won't have much of a choice where you'll have to get a turbo V6 and not have a choice of a V8. I'm just a V8 and diesel guy and I'm also stubborn and picky especially with cars and trucks.

For the $$, they should start coming with a little Asian masseuse built in

They already come with a ton of Chinese parts and GM dealer proctologists (service managers) are trained like battery powered monkeys to repeat the words: "that's normal" over and over. So yeah, an Asian masseuse in the waiting room at dealers would make easier to take whatever the service managers are pushing downstream.
