white diamond or sunset orange?

Your current truck is much more appealing and will likely have a higher resale value. When I was a kid my grandfather had an orange truck. I thought it was ugly then and that hasn't changed. The color does nothing for me. As stated before, if you have money to throw away, then get what you want. Regardless it isn't a wise financial decision.

Early buyers of the 3.08 can get a buy back as they dripped the tow rating after, but that won't help if yours is recent. The max tow also had a larger axle that fits the 3.73 factory gears. Not sure there are aftermarket gears to fit the little axle.

Larger axle isnt to fit ring and pinion. It is because of larger actual differential carrier and other parts they used to strengthen it.

So the stock 3.73 gears will fit the smaller axle? Because last I read the aftermarket hadn't cover that gear for the small ones yet. Also if he does want to tow like a max tow that's one of the other upgrades, all 6.2L come with that axe also.

All 6.2's do come with it, but with a 5.3 that has the smaller axle, its been a year, there has to be a company out there that has made the gears. They are losing money if they arent.
