Climate control delayed start

Recommended Posts

So when I turn my climate control system on in warm weather, it takes about 30 seconds to a minute before cold air begins to come from the vents. it doesn't seem to matter if I have the temperature set to 73 or 63. Once the cold air starts, everything works great.

Normal?

Let me be more clear.

When I turn on the system, air does come from the vents, its just hot air.

It takes 30 seconds to a minute for the air to begin to blow cold.

yep normal.....use the phone app to turn on the truck when you are still in the checkout line and it won't blow hot air on you ;-)

That's what I've been doing... It's a great feature, BTW. Just making sure that's what it's supposed to do...

Thanks for the input.

Yep, normal. I just remote start it as I'm walking to it. It's prob a safety feature for the compressor. It can't kick on for so much time after truck is started
