Chrome or Black

Black chrome all the way. It truly is the perfect mix. If not then chrome. You'll have too much black going on with the over size tires etc. Nice looking truck BTW.

I am having a 2.5 leveling kit installed next week and I thought I knew what I wanted as far as wheels went - Chrome...however, the guy doing the install was going on and on about how good polished black wheels would look...now I am back at square one.

thoughts on Black vs. Chrome? My truck is a 2015 Ocean Blue Metallic and it has the Chrome honeycomb grill and bumper

If it matters, I am going to put some 285/70/17 or 295/70/17 on so there's going to be a lot of black rubber showing...that's why I'm leaning chrome.

Point of consideration with the chrome is no matter how careful you are pitting can be an issue if you live anywhere with the road salt winter roads. My truck is a show truck parked in the winter my chrome wheels pitted. Looking to change to black wheels, seem to be less sensitive. I am leaning on the assumption you meant actuall chrome not a polished wheel.

Thanks.

Its the RC 2" level and then OEM Sierra 20x9 wheels with Cooper ATP 275/60/20 (33") tires. I also have 1.5" spacers on to push the wheels out.c4ce3001fe93ebe4aadf95c31f2a0f18.jpg

Looks great. What kind of spacers are you running? Any negative side effects?

Bora 1.5". There is a set for sale in the marketplace right now.

Only issue is a tiny rub once and a while in reverse at full lock.

Looks good, now you just need some black window trim.

I vote chrome but really either looks good on that color.

I personally love the blue and chrome. When I bought the truck I wanted to go black but the chrome has started to look better.  I haven’t seen many people with the larger bed on the crew cab either.

If you’re going to leave the chrome trim, I say leave the chrome wheels.   It pops.

Not that I haven’t seen some nice chrome/black, but agree - the chrome is classic and will never fade from style.

Personally I've always been a fan of the black accents. Ever since seeing trucks with those American Racing rally wheels or the black steelies with the red and blue lines. Def a lot of options. Personally, whenever I see that blue with the black toolbox I get pretty jealous. I think blue with black accents would look great and pretty classic. To each his own.

Nice looking truck!  I like the CC standard bed as well!
