Trailer Wiring Problem

2005 GMC Sierra 1500 CrewCab Z71

I don't have any power coming to RH turn signal post on my trailer plug.

I did find that the running light fuse under the hood was blown and replaced it, which did give me running lights on the trailer.

I followed the wiring from the plug up to just behind the main fuse panel under the hood. their is a connector there that upon check has the same wires (colors) as at the back plug.

I have 2 wires that are hot, when the vehicle is running one of which is the running lights.

I also have the left turn signal (yellow wire) working at this point. however the dark green wire does not have power at this connector.

Has anyone (I'm sure someone has) had this same problem and do I need to get into the main fuse panel (kinda scary) to fix this?

Any help will be appreciated.

Did I check the fuses in the cab? What kind of dope do you think I ... Oh wait, I didn't know they had trailer fuses in the cab!

Ok the 10amp fuse for the trailer rt turn was blown.

I hope nobody else read my post, you won't tell anyone, will you?

I should just go back to bed, get up and start all over!

Anyway, Thank You !

I went through all the fuses under the hood, checked each one, like I said I replaced the 15 amp fuse with one of the spare ones in the cab fuse door, never bothered to read the sticker saying their were trailer fuses right in front of me!

Thanks Again,
