Keeping Frame Clean

i have a 2015 and well it's a pain !! only have 5k miles on it and it looks bad . i understand the wax coating or whatever to help with rust but there is no way i have found to keep it clean ? once you do one drive down a gravel road and it's covered again and looks like crap from the side view .

i do like the idea of hoping it does not rust bad like my 05 did but have any of you had any luck with keeping the underside clean ? i have never had a truck with this kind of coating on the frame before and im not sure i like it .

I hand wash mine and use touchup on the painted parts and the Frame coating GM 12346501

Lots of these trucks 'live' on dusty gravel roads.

 

Step boards and rear wheelhouse liners so the frame isn't visible

Husky makes wheel well liners... but then again... Its a truck, it's supposed to get dirty.

Your '05 had the coating on the frame. GM has been using it since at least '99.

Is this a show truck? A little dirt and surface rust won't ruin it

i go to NAPA and they have Permatex brand rubberized undercoating which matches the factory coating on my 2500 perfectly... i keep up on spraying the rust spots as they appear.
