My new 16 Denali 6.2 :)

Just picked up my new 16 Denali 4x4. . What a beauty this thing is. My 14 SLT was just bought back from gm. Had a lot of issues. But they stood by their warranty and gave me back every dime plus my down payment back. Well it took a little push from the bbb.org but all in all gm was great in their buy back process ...anyway back to the important stuff. This thing drives really smooth. 8 speed feels great compared to me 14 6.2 with 6 speed I had. No clunking ( for now , please god no clunking ) and no flair shift either. I love the seats and quietness of truck. Kinda odd that this 6.2 exhaust seems louder then my 14. No vibrating either. Already had it up to 95. Shifts are butter soft. And the black is super bad ass. Back up camera is still same shitty quality but quick to load. The infotainment system seems quick and not as buggy as my 14. Time well tell if it remains good. By the way on the way home I processed to slowly pull away from my friend and in his 2014 535i. Lol. The 6.2 is a beast :o) took some pics with my old iPad sorry for bad quality. Not sure how to post better quality pictures without going over bandwidth. I'll post more observations soon. End of day I had issues with my 14 but I was a gm truck guy through and through. Just couldn't see my self in ford and dodge. Who both have good trucks too. I just couldn't.

Gorgeous truck, congratulations ...GM just bought bak my 14 Siarra All terain so I got a q6 ALl terrain SLT premium....I agree the 8 speed dont clunk like the 6 speed in my old truck

Hmmm, guess I should have called the BBB. GM offered me a buyback, but said I would be charged $.30 cents a mile "usage fee" plus MSRP for MSRP. At the time, had about 6000 miles so the fee was going to be $2100 plus price increase for the 2016 and any option changes. Ordered another Denali 10/26. Expect to see it mid December.

Drove the truck around last night for a few hours and can't believe how smooth and quiet it is. My 14 was smooth and quiet too but this thing is awesome. Only gripes are my gripes on 14. No push start , no rear vents but overall I'm pleased.

By the way my last truck was at the dealer for 15 times in less then a year for different issues. So yes I did kind of get lucky getting all my money back minus little less for mileage but trust me even gm knew they had to make it right. My steering rack alone was replaced 5 times. Just luck sometimes I tell you.

Just glad I didn't go with ford or dodge even though I liked those as well. Just couldn't leave gm like that

Odd question, but if you have a chance, could you post a pic of the back of the driver side headlight? You should be able to get to it pretty easy. Just wondering if the housing has changed, and if they are using some type of LED bulb in the projector, or if it's a one piece assembly.

Congrats on the new Denali, it's beautiful! Mine is being built this week. If you wouldn't mind me asking, what was the sticker price vs. price paid? I'd like to learn from your experience as I'm just a few weeks behind you. Thanks for any information you can offer.
