New member here! Chris is my name and I live in Georgia. Love to hunt, fish and the outdoors.

 

I join needing some help from other Chevy owners that may have had this issue like I am having.

 

I have a 2014 1500 Z71 with 30K miles. I have noticed recently that on cold start up there is a puff of smoke that comes from the tail pipe. I am dropping the truck off this evening at the dealership, but was curious if anyone else has had this issue and possible causes.

Hello Chris, I own a 2014 GMC Sierra and I have noted the puff of smoke every now and than. Spoke with my salesman and he stated that was normal. If your dealership tells you something else I sure would love to hear about it. Thank and be safe

Hello from Canada, I own a 2014 GMC Sierra All Terrain, I spoke with a few of you guys regarding the lights in these trucks, or the lack of lights. I got lied to by my salesman for almost a year that he has heard nothing about the light and how piss poor they are. I contacted GM and now having them get involved. The lights in these trucks are dangerous to drive at night. GM did a upgrade which was boost the ECM and new bulbs. Well this is also a fail. Speaking with the parts guy a my dealership he has informed me they have had so many complaints that GM is working on another upgrade which is going to be a complete new housing and light bulbs. I asked if this would be a recall and the price will be around $1000.00 to $1500.00. So I can tell you after spending nearly $70.000 on my truck, they for sure will be paying this, I'm interested in starting a class action lawsuit as they have done in the USA. So if GM says they are not paying how many would jump a board with the law suit. It 's week

By week for these new housing to come in but I will for sure let everyone know. I know if my dealership say no, I will have my lawyer draw up the paper work. GM has fully admitted they messed up with cheating out on the lights. Would love to hear your feedback. Be safe everyone. K
