GMC to offer Sierra All Terrain X this year

Love my GM Borla. Nice to know it adds 10HP too. Sounds great, no drone, and for me it's the perfect volume.

I heard some people were getting $500 gift card from GMC they could apply to an accessory such as the exhuast. Wonder if this was true.

So no.. only actual upgrade is an exhaust... why not just get a regular sierra for less $? Gm might want to get with the picture that performance is still most important to some.

I really wish GM would come up with a better competitor to the Raptor than the Reaper...

the Reaper isn't actually designed or associated with GM. However I do wish they would develop their own version instead of these other companies developing them.

Age old debate that they need to build a Raptor equivalent. But they know that people will buy this to finance in the loan some of the off road appearance items with the sale of the truck.

Wonder how many (true off road) trucks they would have to sell to offset the cost of yet another new or different model. Testing, warranty, production changes etc. Wonder what

the true cost is of special models (suspension changes/ engines or trans variables) vs kicking out variable models of the core truck?

Raptor shmaptor... GM started it all with the SS pickups and Cyclones in the early 90's. That's what they need to do again.

Yep. A RCSB, AWD with a 6.2l would be pretty sweet.

Shoot, I actually like the roll bar. Maybe it is because I previously owned two Avalanches (avalanchi?). I am jealous of the new silverado with the bed toolboxes.

I wonder if this roll bar could be bought separately. I am sure it would be insanely overpriced though.

All in all though, there is nothing very extreme about that truck. Same old truck with a mildly different wrapper on it.

This is not the same GM Borla exhaust you can buy through GMC performance parts. Borla told me they designed this exhaust specifically for the '16 AT X and they aren't sure if GM also tuned and added high performance air intake to get those claims. Of course truck is so new GM dealers don't even know the exhaust part number and if they can install it on my '15 AT.

Would love to know what you find out if anything when you do.

Saw 2 of these the other day at my local dealership while getting the truck serviced. One white and the other black. Looked like they were fresh off the truck, still had protective films on them. I myself probably wouldn't buy one, but hey whatever floats your boat.
