Woke up to missing wheels and tires

just had this same thing happen to me monday about 130am. exact same way, landscape stones. sucks that you can find the kits on amazon to remove the locks with no key. i got some gorillas now, got some of the ones with the rotating sleeve. hopefully it will slow them enough to meet a 9 iron as i would get much more enjoyment from that then i would using the 9mm.

Picture looks like they didn't get yours. Did you interrupt them in the act?

they got the one off and the lugs off the other 4. getting ready to jack it up and pull them when the neighbor came home and scared them off. thankfully they never came back because no one told me i saw them when i went out side in the morning.

That is fortunate!

man that sucks.

Looks like it's roughly 95 bucks shipped for 4 packs of the Gorilla X2's. with as much time as my truck spends sitting out in the back woods by some river I'm floating, it might be a good idea for me to invest in some of these.

The x2's don't fit :( 10mm to short I ordered them same day it happened and had them that night to try. Ended up ordering a set of the other ones they make with the sleeve that twists. The xl version it sticks out but better then replacing the rims.

Did you order 14mm x 1.5 X2's?

Stealing wheels seems to be rampant in Texas. I live in upstate NY and I can't tell you the last time I heard of someone getting their wheels stolen. I had a car stereo stolen when I was a teenager but never wheels.

No sense in destroying a perfectly good 9 iron on some punks :)

they do not make the x2's long enough. the x2 is 1.55 inches, the factory is 1.77 or so. running a caliper down the inside the x2 is only 34mm deep, the factory is 45mm deep. ended up with the gorilla guard 66641 its 2.5" tall and about 50mm deep

no problem, the ones i posted stick out a little bit but i feel safer then using the macguard or whatever it is called the dealer tried to push off. they were solid shaft that could have a socket beat on pretty easy.
