Woke up to missing wheels and tires

I think the point is there is nothing that is going to stop the thieves. Why waste all the time and money on stuff that isn't going to work and especially after they already got you. You have insurance for a reason. Yea it sucks to get stuff stolen but put some lights out there and move on with your life.

Or you can do the opposite and buy all this stuff and sit out there in your rocking chair with all your guns waiting for them.

So from what I'm gathering you just take your wheels off every night and leave them in your front yard for the guys. Wheels locks don't work. Gotcha.

Oh heck no, I remove all the lug nuts and locks from all the wheels each night, but leave the tires on the truck. This confuses the bastards so bad since they cant figure out why the lugs wont come off that they give up and leave.

I would somehow daisy chain. Motion activated lights to another set right outside my window. That way both sets go off when one is triggered.

Seems like a good idea until the neighbors cat would decided to have violent loud cat sex setting the lights off every 5min lol

Had the exact same thing happen to me when I was in Houston (Hollister & 290) for work. Mine was in my hotel parking lot with plenty of lighting. Ended up having insurance replace and put back exact same wheel and tire (should've upgraded then).

Get some aftermarket wheels and tires, time to upgrade!!

I feel your pain...same thing happened to me 3 weeks ago....truck was 6 months old. Had GM wheel locks and they got them off without a key and left all lugs laying on the ground. Looked at the lock ones and not even a scratch, so they didn't brute force them off. Was parked in my driveway right below an intensely bright LED motion light but unfortunately didn't have security cameras.

Stock wheels on lifted trucks and lowered trucks is the in thing right now.

Plus if you have a WT trim spiff it up with some denali wheels and tires for $1000???

I've often considered swapping for some OEM rims, I prefer the OEM look. It would make me sick to buy someones stolen rims though.

just had this same thing happen to me monday about 130am. exact same way, landscape stones. sucks that you can find the kits on amazon to remove the locks with no key. i got some gorillas now, got some of the ones with the rotating sleeve. hopefully it will slow them enough to meet a 9 iron as i would get much more enjoyment from that then i would using the 9mm.
