I replaced my goodyears with Cooper AT3. I like the so far. Pretty quite on the road, handle bumps better than the goodyears.

I appreciate the fast and varied responses so far. And to answer the question, yes I had the factory wheel locks on them. They left behind most of the lugs and the locks. The locks were not damaged at all, so they must have had a key set with them. Another truck in a different section (GMC SLE) was hit as well from what I have been told.

The tire and wheel company is going to try and help me out with tire selection. I just wanted to get some opinions so I can look a few over to suggest to them. With luck, I might have the new wheels and tires late today or tomorrow. Once the kids are awake and fed, I'll have time to get out there with them and get the truck up on proper jack stands and inspect for further damage. I'll be taking a lot of pictures first for documentation. The rear discs are sitting on the rocks themselves right now.

Sounds like you are intelligent and have a good handle on the process. I'm sure you are checking for damaged rotors, scratched fenders, etc. You don't want to miss any of the residual damage that could have occured while you are busy worrying about which wheel/tire combo to upgrade to.

I took several photos and just finished putting the truck on jack stands. There is something unnerving about jacking up a truck that is only resting on ball joint studs on the front and brake dust shields on the rear. The dust shields have both been pushed up into the rotors. I took more pictures and will be contacting insurance about those as well. Once it gets wheels and tires, I'm hoping to get it to the dealership to have the dust shields replaced since they are bent up into the brake discs. I have not seen any scratches yet

I am getting the OEM wheels and the Hankook Dynapro AT-M tires tomorrow afternoon. The BFG Rugged Terrain would have cost more than I wanted to spend. The Hankooks were the same price as the SRAs.

I have the default bridgestone dueler A/T tires that come with the 2014 z71. I like them quite a bit, Haven't been able to try any other tires though.

I worry about this being that on my block there is around 6 Silverados and my Sierra, all 14-16's and I'm the only one that keeps the truck in the garage overnight. Hope thieves don't decide to do a sweep.

I live right down the street from Scott P and didn't get hit for some reason. Looking for a better way to secure my stuff without having to result in throwing lead (this is Texas you know :))

The Houston area seems to be a magnet for wheel thieves. I have 2 step children that live in Conroe so I get to hear about a lot of this stuff though them. Good luck in getting back on the road.

There were several guys on here is the Dallas/McKinney area that get hit as well, people in Texas steal the hell out of wheels!

No driveway cameras make you a preferred target. They know what Arlos do and don't want to take the lead.

Agree, add some cameras and enough lights yo turn night to day! Everything his in on sensors and you know when someone is there!

My 2014 All Terrain is sitting on some landscape stones right now. Some enterprising individuals grabbed my wheels and tires sometime between midnight and 5:00 am. They had a whopping 6,000 miles on them. No other damage to the truck that I can see. Insurance has a company that sources replacement wheels and tires. I am hoping to be able to get something different than the SRA tires that came on the truck.

I've gone through a few threads already, but am looking fora few more opinions. I want something that actually looks a bit fitting for an All Terrain, but still has good road manners. The most off roading I currently do is towing our trailer to a campground, so grass and stone driveways. I don't want my mileage to take a hit.I also don't have a lift or level kit, so they need to be stock size.

Any suggestions out there that are priced within a reasonable range of the Goodyear SRAs?

Sorry! You will get a ton of recommendations for tires, For replacement wheels, I recommend that you carefully select after seeing the options. Tire Rack has a great section on wheels and the difference in quality. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/techpage.jsp?techid=90 It amazes me at how many people buy aftermarket wheels without any consideration for the wheel quality. Every post on this forum dealing with wheels says the same thing "Looks great ....how much did you pay?" without any consideration of quality. One thing that you failed to address.

Do you want to stick with P rated tires or move to an LT? It will have a big impact on the tire recommendations. If you want P rated tires, Michelin LTX MS2 or new AT is a consistent top notch performer.

Wheel locks maybe..... Yall think its bad in Houston...... And in the valley..

My friend had his 24x10 front and 24x15 rear Intros off his slammed/tubbed silverado stolen and truck on blocks

We are talking like a good 5 grand in wheels alone..... Not counting the 405 section rear tires lol
