Little annoying things about your truck

What did you use to tint the protector? If I can get this done to my truck, my only complain is going away.

Piece of window tint, can't remember the tint, I matched my front windows to the rear factory privacy glass so whatever that is, and I actually would like it a shade darker. But never bothered changing it yet

2014 Silverado HIgh Country: Transmission clunk. Heated seats not heating fast enough compared to previous GM vehicles I've owned. Cargo light doesn't activate when unlock button is pressed. No remote locking/unlocking tailgate. No factory LED or HID exterior lighting. underpowered 5.3. I think a heads up display would be killer in this truck.

The fact that my 6.2 can and will not do a burnout for more than 2 seconds... and no I'm not trying to do burnouts left and right... just want to do a nice burnout and take pics.

That's weird my 5.3 will light tires up. Hold the brake and give it some gas let go of break and burnout for what feels like a minute haha

Do you have a locker? I haven't tried to do any burnouts yet but it seems like it should do it no problem. I beat a brand new Maserati yesterday. Dude didn't see it coming. Maybe the other guy left traction control on?

2015 Denali 6.2L 4x4 8 Speed

I have only had my truck for a couple of weeks. I love the truck but my complaints are:

No AC vents in the rear for the kids. Yes, if I point the front middle vent to the back, that works, but still

Rear cup holders are only in the fold down section of the rear seat and in the doors, so if you have 3 passengers in the back, the middle passenger gets no cup holder. My Tahoe had them in the back of the center console.

Transmission shifts funny sometimes but I still love the 8 speed!

No rain sensing wipers! My 08 Tahoe had this and I got very used to it.

No adaptive cruise control. My Audi has this and it is awesome especially when you are on the Highway

Headlights are not very bright

Aluminum hood flex at high speeds or with high wind.

Where do you live that you use the AC in March? I want to move there. I am still using auto start in the morning to get the ice off :)

Yes I do. I have the trailering package and on the window sticker it says I do.

Mich... the older style center console air vents where almost useless, I know I had a 2005 with one (USELESS) and they dropped air flow from the dash vents, the front seat folks suffered a large drop, they still have the rear passenger foot well air, again to me is worthless.

If GM adds air to the rear, it needs to be in headliner like the SUV's. Its a superior design, hence why the SUV's have a 2nd evap and fan to help cool the rear passengers. (its just a capacity thing)

in the CCSB's the front vents airflow can cool the entire cabin down quicker b/c it can move more cooler air, to add vents to the rear center console, drops, flow & vent temp. EVAP temp, vent temp, and cabin temp verify based on their locations the sensors can see this so do the GM engineers. I bet if you looked at the vent temp/flow on the footwell its a loss.

I am in TX, and this winter has been uncomfortably warm like 85 degrees, but if you sound deaden your truck using CLD & CC foam, more than factory it keeps the cabin cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter b/c you can better insulate it. Vette guys install lots of CLD and CC foam to keep the heat out from under the car, from the engine & exhaust b/c of the alum... chassis.

and for everyone else, GM just released the new 10 speed automatics in the 2017 Camaro ZL1, so expect to see in the 2018 6.2 trucks, the co-developed 10 speed transmission will be superior design over the current 8l90, additionally even faster cars/trucks.

Thanks for the insight. It was rather warm yesterday so that was the first time we confirmed that the front vents could quickly cool the whole cab. Still, vents blowing in your face in the back seat would be nice.

I'm slighted annoyed/bothered by the Parking Sensor switch light. With the light being on all the time, I would have liked to see it in the center of the stack so everything is symmetrical. I know, it's stupid, but would have been nice.

Also, I can feel when the truck changes from V4 to V8. Almost like a hiccup in the truck when all 8 cylinders start firing.

-The shifting sucks

-Wish you could just leave fog lights on. Not have to manually turn them on every time

-Passenger seat is too low for my wife. Not adjustable on my Carbon edition.

-Interior lights are too bright and reflect.

When coasting to a stop the truck sometimes downshifts pretty roughly, kinda jerks you and the rpms shoot up.

Annoying squaking sound coming from rear passenger door when going over bumps.

Wind noise from driver's window, it's not too bad but since the truck is so quiet it's just more noticeable.

I think that's it, nothing too bad.

I have the wind noise in my window too, annoys the crap out of me. I think it's the weather strip.
