1) My screen regularly displays the service rear view system error at start up. The camera works fine, but the dealer can't seem to figure out why. They have already replaced the camera and installed the updates. Now they are going to go connection by connection to trace it out. So glad i have the warranty.

2) I want to be able to turn on the bed lights when driving. Sometimes I want to check on my load at night. On my old '05, i could, but I haven't been able to on my 07 or 14.

Driving over small bumps causes the rear seats to vibrate against the rear of the cab. My solution is black hand towels between the setback & cab wall. I sometimes want the center arm rest in the up position, however it vibrates when going over small road imperfections whether it's empty or not. In cold weather, the drivers seat squeaks in the left front corner. This goes away once the interior warms up.

Is that what that is?! I've tried for about a month to see what's loose back there but can never find anything.

There's a plastic horseshoe shaped ring that snaps on a guide behind the rear seat back rest and it may have come off, it can make a racket when driving over bumps.

There was a post that I can't find in regards to the a/c indicator light being on all of the time. There was an update that the light would only come on when the compressor was on. Or did I dream that?

I don't like when driving at 60 mph and move the shift lever from D to M and it automatically goes to M4. That is 2 downshifts. Wonder what GM's reasoning is?

Automatic transmissions have become increasingly more "intuitive" over the past few decades. I prefer manual transmissions for the enjoyment of driving and being in the gear you want, when you want. I believe technology has a way to go before an Automatic will anticipate every variable.

It bugs me that at less than 3000 miles, I am going to have to take a second trip to the dealership. The 1st time was for a wet passenger floor after 2 weeks of ownership. Now i am dealing with a rear passenger door that won't open from the inside. This has been going on for most of the time that I have had the truck, but i never really thought much of it since my toddler is on that side I have to let him out anyway. It's a little more annoying when there is an adult that can't let themself out. All other doors are ok ( not the child lock button). I'm not trying to take apart the door panel on a new truck to mess with cables or linkage. I think the dealership needs to throw in a gm borla exhaust to make things

right. ?

It seems like every day now there is some new "different" thing that my truck is doing...anomaly...quirk...intermittent weirdness...I don't know what to call it. Like when it idles perfect and then you pull up to a traffic light and the trans shifts rough and then you get a rough idle "miss" and then everything runs great again. weird.

Is this normal? I just got my brand new 2016 on Monday and mine has the idle issue like it's wanting to stall, but hit the gas and runs perfect.

Just a word of advice to a new truck owner, reading all of the complaints in the forum will have you looking for monsters that just don't exist for most people. Get some miles on the truck and let the computer "learn" how you drive.
