Anybody know if a knn from a 2012 chevy silverado 5.3 will fit a 2016 gmc sierra 6.2.. I know the 6.2 has 2 vacum lines and the 2012 has only one.. can i just drill a hole and put a fitting and the piece of hose??? Thanks in advanced...

you have a 2016 Denali....why don't you just spend the money for a nice intake made for the truck instead of trying to rig up a K&N from a 2012?

just my opinion...

No. You can not. Buy a new one or just save your $$$ as you aren't gaining anything with a K&N.

I have the Airaid JR for my 6.2 It keeps the factory airbox which is a good design, just replaces the intake elbow and gives you a nice reusable better flowing filter. Gives you some good sound when you stomp on it, but not too obnoxious

Just food for thought, the stock air filter and intake are capable of flowing more air than a stock or slightly modified engine is capable of using. Adding an intake to a stock vehicle will do nothing more than give a little sound and some under hood aesthetics. Most of the intake manufacturers base their buisiness model on the old saying....a fool and his money are easily parted.

While not exactly the same I had a 10.6 1/4MI. 4V Mustang and I did not change the stock intake until I got the heads ported and extrude honed and we realized on the dyno that it was gasping for air past 6k rpm. Before the head work the stock hardware supplied plenty of air. So stock goods got me pretty deep into the 11's.
