2016 GMC Sierra CC Clicking noise in roof?

Anybody have a clicking noise coming from their roof in the backseat? I am sitting, not moving in a parking lot and hear a clicking noise from the roof in the back seat.

 

It is constant, been happening for a few weeks, happens once every 3-4 minutes or so.

 

What is it and how do I stop it?

Not much back there other than the cab brake light. I've never had a click from there. I can her sunglasses in the holder rattling from time to time.

It's not a rattle... It happens when sitting still with the truck off. Weird

Possibly some metal heat expansion around the brake light, just a guess.

That's exactly what it is, I've noticed the same thing with my double cab. When I pull it out of the garage into the hot sun , it will start to pop a little bit after it really heats up

Has anyone with this issue been able to get it resolved? Mine does the same thing and it gets very annoying. I can see where the third brake light rubs the cab metal but I am hesitant to loosen it due to water leaks around the gasket...

My cc had the long black weather strip on the roof replaced as it was loose. Don't know that it made any noise though.

My 2015 DC does it, same as GMC-AT. Black truck, from shade to sun, annoying consistent popping from the rear roof panel for quite a while until the roof heats up.

Just sitting here waiting for my wife to arrive at the place we are having dinner.... Listening to my roof go ... Tick...... Tick.... Tick..... Stupid annoyance.

My 16 CC does the same thing. Down here in FL is a daily occurrence and drives me crazy. I will ask about it during my next oil change...

Well crud, doesn't look like anybody has found a TSB or anything to get this fixed.
