Small mod

I checked off a small mod today off of my list of things that I want to do to my truck. Since I carry my keys in my pocket all day I added a jacket to my key fob. I have used these things in the past and they really do protect your fob from scratches. They also help prevent accidentally pressing a button on your fob when bending over with keys in you front pocket. I normally remove my shoes in the garage before entering the house, on more than one occasion while getting ready to leave for work and bending over to put my shoes on in the garage I have managed to sound the horn via the panic button. That usually gets me awake! Here is the before and after.

I just did the same thing yesterday. I ordered THIS one. It covers the fob completely. Works great.

I have this and I love it. I bought mine from Amazon. They have multiple colors. Mine was about $8. Highly recommend.
